| Snuzzles | Mertztown, PA | |
|
This little out of the way place has a great atmosphere and great
food. The wings are some of the absolute best that can be had anywhere.
Among the other greats on their menu is the pizza, which although
it isn't the best to be had in the area, it ranks high on the
list. There is a sports bar as well as the dining area, and a diversity
in the food. There's not much more you can ask from a restaurant.

| Michaels | Douglassville, PA | |
|
Micheals is another in a long list of diners. The food is average,
and service is decent. The best thing about this restaurant could
be the placement. It lies in an area near two major highways, and
is a good stop for motorists. You can get anything from this diner
that you can get in any diner, from cold sandwiches to hot dinner.
They also offer a very good breakfast, which is by far the best
time to eat there. It's not a restaurant that you'd go
out of the way to eat at, but if you're passing through, and
you're hungry, stop in and try it.

| Shady Maple Smorgasbord | New Holland, PA | |
|
If you like being herded along a row of foods, like animals before
a feeding trough, this is a restaurant for you. The only advantage
is that there are sometimes a few pearls to find here that are rather
tasty. The variety is good, but it's also different from
what most people would normally eat. The atmosphere is... eclectic.
Some may find it interesting, but most will find it dull. If you're
in a bind, and want something different to eat, stop in at Shady
Maple.

| Seven Stars Inn | Phoenixville, PA | |
|
The one thing that stands out most in this historical restaurant
is the huge portions. While this can be a benefit it can also be
a detriment, as while you get your fill of food, because the portions
are so large the food can become bland; they are so large that it's
difficult to cook some of the foods well. Some of the meat would
be underdone, but the sides were done well enough to please almost
any palette. If you're looking for a fine restaurant with
exquisite food, this isn't the place you want to go. If you
want to fill up on decent foods you'll find yourself satisfied
by this restaurant.

| Morimoto | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
Morimoto could be the best restaurant Starr has founded. The
restaurant is based around the chef Masaharu Morimoto, who may
be best known for his work on the TV Show "Iron Chef."
All of the wait staff is specially trained to be able to best help
you, and the training pays off, because the service is great.
The selection of sushi is wonderful, and it is all well made. The
entree's are great, with a good selection and creative themes.
The decor of the restaurant is also very trendy and moody which
only increases the sensual pleasure one feels in the restaurant.
Anyone who loves japanese cuisine should give this restaurant
a try, but remember to make your reservations far in advance.

| The Cheesecake Factory | King of Prussia, PA | |
|
When I ate at the Cheesecake Factory, I didn't know what to
expect. When I sat down, and paged through the immense menu, I
could barely even decide what to eat! They have one of the largest
selections I've ever seen in a restaurant, and all of it sounded
great. The appetizers were delicious and came out promptly,
and the main course (Chicken Madeira in my case) was close to being
the best food I'd ever put in my mouth. To top it off, the atmosphere
was great, the wait wasn't all that long, and the prices weren't
overly high.
As if that wasn't enough, you then have the theme of the restaurant;
the cheesecake. They offer a large selection, and you can have
it prepared in different ways, or even take a cake home with you.
While the cheesecake is more pricey than the rest of the items
on the menu, it's so good that you won't mind paying the
extra. There are also a few other great deserts to sample, but
they are overshadowed by the cheesecake.

| DENNY'S | Reading, PA | |
|
The simplest thing you can say about this particular Denny's,
is that it's exactly the same as all of the rest. The food is
fair, with an average selection on the menu. The service is pretty
good, and the prices are cheap. The best thing about this particular
branch is that the the coffee was really good. Maybe it was just
the pot I had, but who knows, so long as it's good there's
nothing to complain about. Eat here if you can't afford the
other restaurants in the area, and if you don't want fast
food.

| BOJANGLE'S FAMOUS CHICKEN & BISCUITS | Reading, PA | |
|
This little out of the way place has some of the best chicken you
can find anywhere. It makes KFC look like a sham in comparison,
and the prices are just as cheap. It's clean, and has a friendly
environment. It's close to the Reading area, which makes
it easily accessible.
|
||
| Crab Barn | Reading, PA | |
|
Considering there aren't very many places for seafood in
Reading Crab Barn is probably the best there is. The atmosphere
is pretty good, and there's good service. You get large portions,
and everything is fairly cheap, which makes it a win over Red Lobster,
which is slightly expensive.
|
||
| V & S Sandwich Shop | Reading, PA | |
|
This place makes the best sandwiches in Reading. The meat is always
fresh, and everything is well prepared. You can get a killer sub
at these places, and they make incredible salads that they mix
cheeses and meats into, which makes them very large, and quite
tasty.

||
| V & S Sandwich Shop | Reading, PA | |
|
This is an absolutely great place with good sandwiches, whether
they be hot or cold. It's the best for lunch when you're
at work or if you just need a good cheap snack.

||
| China Penn West | Reading, PA | |
|
It is a nice place, with good staff and service, but the food isn't
as good as some of the other places around. It's pretty small,
and sort of nondescript, but it's better than a lot of regular
restaurants around that area.
|
||
| Ruby Tuesdays | Wilkes Barre, PA | |
|
I don't really see a reason anyone would want to eat at this
place. Bad location, bad food, and overpriced. Probably the
worst branch of Ruby Tuesdays around.
|
||
| Arner's | Reading, PA | |
|
The Arners restaurant is a good place to eat. The food is fresh
and tasty, and the service is superb. Although there isn't
anything gourmet about it, it's still a good quality place,
and the bakery makes it better.
|
||
| Oley Valley Inn | Oley, PA | |
|
This restaurant is by far the most classy place to eat in the historic
Oley Valley. It is right in the center of the town, which makes
it easily accessible to those touring the scenic area, or locals
who wish to dine here. The service is prompt and done in a friendly
manner, which compliments the fine food offered at the restaurant.
|
||
| The Peanut Bar | Reading, PA | |
|
The food here is pretty good, but it's nothing special. It
was kind of gross how they left the peanut shells all over the floor,
but I suppose it's good for the floor. There's a good
selection of beers and such, with some promotional stuff from
local breweries occaisonally.

| Mc Clard's Bar-B-Q | Hot Springs National Park, AR | |
|
This is definately the best BBQ/Restaurant in all of Arkansas.
The ribs are tender, succulent, and all around excellent, and
they are complimented perfectly by the incredible sauce. On
top of that, the prices are very reasonable, and the portions
are filling. Perhaps the best/funniest part is that Bill Clinton
enjoys this restaurant.
|
||
| Jason's Burgers-N-More | Hot Springs National Park, AR | |
|
Jason's is in just about the best location you can get, close
to all the attractions and easily accessible. The people are
friendly and provide great service. The inside of the restaurant
is very tasteful and lends it a good atmosphere. The burgers are
incredible, always juicy and tasty, and cooked just how you like
them, which is a great deal considering the low price. This restaurant
is a sure win for lunch or dinner.
|
||
| Cajun Boilers | Hot Springs National Park, AR | |
|
Although this restaurant lies a bit outside of town, it's
right on the lake and very easy to find.The food there is great
and consists of awesome cajun food like shrimp, crab claws, crawfish,
and so on. Prices can depend on how much you eat. Service is excellent,
the atmosphere is great, and you are sure to come out with a full
stomach! It has never failed for me.
|
||
| Don Juan | Hot Springs National Park, AR | |
|
Don Juan's service has to be on of (if not) the best in town.
Right when you're seated you are offered with salsa dip and
a bowl of chips. The salsa is always refilled and drinks are never
empty. Beware of what you order... you might order too much! Not
only is the food excellent, but the amount of the food is stagering!

And the white cheesedip is great.
