| Italian Market Grill | Greenville, SC | |
|
The Italian Market and Grill offers a good variety of Italian
spcialties such as pastas, salads, steaks, brick oven pizzas,
and on Sunday a wonderful Brunch. Voted best restaurant in G'ville
more than 1 year. I personally enjoy the Portobello Steak entree.

| Peddler Steak House | Spartanburg, SC | |
|
The Peddler is the place to go if you want a great steak, excellent
salad bar, and great service. The bar is a good place to relax and
have a few drinks after a business meeting too. I recommend it
to everyone. Also, if you are a regular, you might want to ask them
about the Peddler card which allows you to buy one entree and get
another free. Great value if you enjoy great steak and go often.
Also good to give co-workers on special occasions or friends.

| Blossom Cafe | Charleston, SC | |
|
Very nice laid back but cloth napkins kind of place. You can create
your own combos and pizza's. The steaks are great and if you
just want a light salad or sandwich they have those too.

| Hyman's Seafood Co | Charleston, SC | |
|
Hymans has been in a few publications as being a great seafood
place. But for my taste, they didn't have anything I couldn't
find at my local fish camp with a smaller price. When I visit some
where like Charleston, I enjoy trying things I can't get
at home. Hymans did have good fried seafood but nothing out of
the ordinary that really made it pop.

| Slightly North of Broad Rstrnt | Charleston, SC | |
|
Good place to go have a few drinks with friends and have a good meal.
Have a light lunch and go early to beat the crowd at dinner though.
In the back, you can watch them cook which is quite exciting if
you get into that kind of thing. All the meals I have had have been
great.

| Trawler Seafood Restaurant | Mount Pleasant, SC | |
|
The Trawler use to be THE place to go but now it seems to be over rated.
I went the other month and had no wait and the food was good but nothing
to write home about.

| East Side Bakery & Cafe | Mount Pleasant, SC | |
|
The above price is for dinner but cheaper at lunch. This is a very
quant cafe with home made deserts, unusual but good sandwiches,
and great entrees which vary from night to night. I would recommend
it to anyone going to Charleston or to Sullivans. The food could
be considered gourmet at a much lower price. A number of the locals
enjoy it very much.

||
| Coby's Steak & Seafood Ltd | Spartanburg, SC | |
|
Colbys is a good place to eat yet if your looking for ombience,
unless you smoke, its not there. I recommend the steaks and hamburger
steaks personally. The seafood is good also.

| Carolina Barbecue | Spartanburg, SC | |
|
For Barbeque in Spartanburg, this is the best place to go. They
make their own sauce too and you can buy it to go. I prefer the chopped
barbeque or the barbeque chicken plate personally.
|
||
| Holden's Ranch | Spartanburg, SC | |
|
In Spartanburg, this is the place to go for your chicken stew.
They also have blue plate specials, hamburgers, chicken, hot
dogs, fries, etc. Good friendly atmosphere for the family too.
|
||
| Junction | Campobello, SC | |
|
This is the place people go to for breakfast. Lunch and dinner
is good especially if you like fried chicken and fried green tomatoes.
Good old home cooking. It is buffet style too.
|
||
| Beacon Drive In | Spartanburg, SC | |
|
If you have never been to the Beacon then it is the place to go. I
assure you, you will not forget your ordering experience. Its
alot of fun but just keep the line moving. This is the grease pit
of South Carolina but you can't help coming back for more.
The plates are piled high and the sandwiches are good too. I personally
like the Outside.
|
||
| Sugar 'n Spice Drive In Rstrnt | Spartanburg, SC | |
|
This is another one of Spartanburg's many grease pits but
it is best known for its Roast Beef sandwich or souvlaki (ok I can't
spell today) Their Bak lava is great also. Great greek family
runs the place and it is a joy to go.

| China Buffet | Spartanburg, SC | |
|
Buffet style restaurant which keeps the buffet fresh but along
with that you have limited variety. The food is good and the staff
are very friendly.
|
||
| King's Buffet | Spartanburg, SC | |
|
A good chinese buffet but they have cut out the crab legs which
was a big draw. I usually eat there at least once a month. They do
have boiled shrimp but their cocktail sauce is not great. Bring
your own. The chinese dishes are good too and the staff are very
friendly and keep your table clean.

| Cunetto House of Pasta | Saint Louis, MO | |
|
This is one of the best Italian restaruants I have been to. It is
definitely worth the wait. The wait staff are great and attend
to you very fast. The food is great too. The steak is one of the tenderests
I have ever put in my mouth. If it weren't so far away, I'd
be there now. It is on Italian Hill and where better to eat Italian.
This is a favorite loacls place too. I strongly recommend it.

||
| Papa's Breakfast Nook | Spartanburg, SC | |
|
Good breakfast any time. Similar to a IHOP but locally owned and
much better. Great for those after drinks munches too. They have
great burgers too.
|
||
| Ricky's Drive In | Spartanburg, SC | |
|
This is where Spartanburg goes for their Hot Dogs. Their chili
is the best in town for hot dogs. They sell over a million a year.
They also have good burgers but everyone goes for the hot dogs.
The only set back is they are skimpy with their fries.
|
||
| Ice Creams & Coffee Beans | Spartanburg, SC | |
|
Good small cafe where you can go with a friend and sit back and enjoy
the conversation with good food and ice cream if you like. They
have tables outside and you can relax and enjoy being with a friend
at lunch or dinner.
|
||
| Fatz CAFE | Spartanburg, SC | |
|
This is your comparison to Applebees where you have a bar and food
too. The wait staff are friendly but I the food was average. I've
eaten there a number of times but it isn't a place I look forward
to going to.
