This is the place that taught me that ranch dressing dip is excellent with pizza! lol That may sound gross to ya, but it did me to and now I love it! The pizza is great and please, try it with the ranch dressing dip. I doubt you'll be sorry!

I've only been to the Surry House once, but I enjoyed it! Great service, great food, and fair prices. What more can you really ask for? I intend to go back one day. It's a bit of a ride if you don't live out that way, but it's worth the trip and there are a lot of historical sites you can see on the way if you're looking for a family outing.

I've said before in other reviews, I'm not a seafood guy, but the atmosphere of this place is great. Especially for a date! If you want to take that special someone somewhere special, this is definantly a nominee!

It may just be my taste, but I really liked this place. It's a cool place to just sit and hang out. Grab a beer, have a seat and wait for your food. Just my kinda atmosphere! Check it out!

I'm not much for seafood, but the sports bar was great! I went here when I visited a friend of mine at VA Tech. It's a place where he goes to hang out a lot and if I were out there a lot, I would to. Cool place! Check it out sometime!

I just got back from Honolulu and this place was one of my favorites! Mybe it's just my constant craving for pizza and alcohol, but it really it a great place to go and let me just say, . . . I love Hawaii!!!:D

I like this place a lot! I take classes at the TCC Visual Arts Center in Old Towne and this place is somewhere I try and go at least once a week. If ya love italian food, Mario's is definantly a place to try! You won't be sorry!

Southern Cooking & Bar'b'que! What else really needs to be said??? I've only been here once, but then the service and food were top-notch and I doubt it's changed much! Stop in and try some real down-home southern dishes and bar'b'que that'll knock your flip-flops off! If I ever pass through again, I'll won't miss out! Come hell or high water, I'm gonna see this place again!

Some of the best quality for the best priced southern dishes can be found here! You can help yourself to the huge variety and as this other fella says, a good drink isn't far away! If you're in the area and on a tight budget, check this place out! You'll leave with a full stomach without hurtin' the wallet to bad!

The only thing I really didn't like about this place was the prices! When ya go, go with a thick wallet and be prepared to leave with a thin one! I'm not a big fan of seafood, but I did have the steak and I must say, it was good stuff! The portions are huge! You'll leave with a full stomach, but as I said, an empty wallet!

Kelly's is a nice little place that allows good food, good drinks, and a good time all in one! It's already been said that the hamburgers are great, but no one's mentioned to jukebox in the corner or the pool tables in the back! Why not head in to Kelly's and while you're waitin' for your food or drinks, pop a few quarters in the jukebox and play a game of pool. It's a nice little hangout spot with a friendly atmosphere that'll keep ya comin' back. Oh, and the potato soup is good!

I have to say that the Olive Garden at Chesapeake Square is pretty average. I'm not going to say the food wasn't good, but it definantly could've been better! This is the only Olive Garden I've eaten at, but I have to say that the commercials on tv are a load of crap! lol I've never seen an old italian guy walk out of there happy! lol For italian food, I say the best place was Little Italy on Taylor Rd., but considering that's closed now, I gotta go with East Side Pizza. They got some awesome stromboli!

The only bad thing about this restaurant is the limited parking and the possible wait to get in the place! But once you're in there, be prepared for some of the best mexican food you've ever eaten! I first went there about a year ago and I go there at least once a month now! There is only one thing to remember; if ya don't like guacamoli, let them know cause they put it on everything! lol

Now, I'm not the high class type, but if ya feel like gettin' all spiffied up and takin' you girl out on an expensive date just to show how much she means to ya, this is the place! I'm used to good down-home style cookin', but occasionally, this is a nice change. As long as you can ignore the stuck-up people, . . . lol, this is a mighty fine restaurant and there's a beautiful view of the water.

I've been eatin' at this little place for a while now and it hasn't done anything but get better! The food is great and so are the people. Ya go there a few times and you'll be one a first name basis with a lot of the employees and some of the local regulars. I'm not a regular, but when I do go in there, I feel right at home with some of the best food for the best prices and the best service! It's just an all around good place!

If you're ever in the area of Jacksonville Beach, this is one place you just have to go! I went because Lynyrd Skynyrd is my favorite band, but I left there with a stomach full of good, southern, down-home cookin'! I don't recall what the prices ranged from, but I do remember that it was worth every penny! Even if you're not a Skynyrd fan, which I would never understand of any hardworkin' American, this is still a great place to go for excellent food and some awesome tunes! Just check it out and you'll see what I mean!

Ok, Jimmy Buffet started the place! What else do you honestly need to know? My sister and I stopped in on our trip to Key West and that is one place we'll never forget! I don't remember if the service was slow because I was to busy enjoying the atmosphere, but my food was hot when it came out to me! Some people need to understand that quality takes time, but it's worth the wait! And what a wait it was! Some of the best drinks from the bar I think I've ever had and music that just lifts you off your feet and sets you into relaxation mode! Just try this place out! You won't be sorry!

This is a nice little hang-out kinda spot! Their pizza is good and their stromboli is awesome! You can grab ya a beer, eat some pizza and sit back and listen to your choice tunes on the jukebox! Check this place out! It's worth a drive if you're not in the Williamsburg area!

Yes, this place is a truck stop, but that's one of the great things about it! I'm not a trucker, but I do a lot of traveling and I came across this place on a recent trip through Emporia to hit 85 and head down to Charlotte, NC. Of all the restaurants I went to while in Charlotte, none of them compared to this little place! You want good food and good folks to talk to, stop in. Whether you live in Emporia or just passin' through, come check it out!

This is your average chain steakhouse. Everything was good and well prepared. The serving staff was kind and did a great job at keeping our drinks filled which is a big thing with me! When I'm eating, I like to always have something to drink to wash down every other bite or so and for this they got an A+ as well as the cooking!
