| Big Mike's Super Subs | Madison, WI | |
|
Well how can you mess up a sub? Their menu is different than most
sub shops and they are more inventive. I found the food good and
the delivery was fast. No complaints.

| Cafe' Mulino | Wisconsin Rapids, WI | |

Good service. Nice Atmosphere. I found all the entrees I tried
very good and filling. I would eat here again.

| Four Star Family Restaurant | Wisconsin Rapids, WI | |
|
I ate here for breakfast. Typical fare. I had a feta omlet and it
was really tasty. Service was fair.

| Bluephies | Madison, WI | |
|
Breakfast was wonderful. This place is in a great location. Very
well lit with large windows and natural light. The service was
not the best but the food was inventive and tasty. There are many
unusual things on the menu that I intend to go back and try. I would
recommend this place.

| Blue Plate Diner | Madison, WI | |
|
This place is rapidly becoming my favorite. It is a great place
to take guests. There is something on the menu for any type of palette
or appitite. I love the Calico Corn Cakes and the Potato Pie is
wonderful. There is a great selection of vegetarian dishes too.
Each night there is a pasta special in addition to the other daily
specials. Desserts are worth saving space for. The service has
been perfect except once. The waiter was having a bad day I guess.

| Casa De Lara | Madison, WI | |
|
Lots of food, great service and the taste is great. I had the spinach
calzone and for under 5.00 had enough for THREE meals. I am not
kidding. The atmosphere is lacking but who cares.

| Fraboni's Italian Specialties | Madison, WI | |
|
Typical fast food. I would say slightly better than the typical
burger joint but nothing really special.

| Glass Nickel Pizza Co | Madison, WI | |
|
One word. "Fetalicious". Fabulous. All that I have had was wonderful.
mind you this is not health food. The sauce is spicier than most
but better than most as well. I highly recommend. The delivery
is quick too.

| Himal Chuli | Madison, WI | |
|
This is the first restaurant I ate at three years ago when visiting
Madison. I know live here and it always brings back fond memories
when I go there or just passing by. The decor is lacking and the
restauant small but that is part of the charm. This place is a gem.
Mimochas... are the best. The food here is very consistent. If
it is good today it will be the same three months later. Staff is
always friendly and attentive with out being bothersome. Prices
are good, and portions are adequate. I do recommend it if you like
ethnic food and are always looking for something new.

| Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co | Madison, WI | |
|
Great Atmosphere, full bar and large menu. I have eaten there
on several occasions and would recommend it. Those on a diet however
be warned.. there are selections that are healthier on the menu
but it is too tempting to indulge. The beers are excellent. My
favorite is the Red Lager. This is not my favorite place in Madison
but it would be one of my first choices if I was entertaining several
people with varied tastes. It can be very crowded and noisy so
don't expect a quiet dinner for two.

| Michael's Frozen Custard | Madison, WI | |
|
Take my advice... stop often and try a Turtle Sundae. Flavors
change daily on a rotating basis. They have the best custard in
town. Some say Culvers is the best but in my opinion it pales in
comparison. They have food as well but I have only had the Veggie
Sandwich.
They are always busy (a good thing) and it is a fun atmosphere. |

| Dotty Dumplings Dowry | Madison, WI | |
|
I found the food to be nothing special. A bit over priced if you
ask me. I did have a veggie burger that was better than most but
the veggie chilli was not good. Too much of some spice I couldn't
place. It was very greasy in the place and crowded. I definately
won't miss it but can see where others might.

| Pavlov's Pizza | Madison, WI | |
|
Tired of all the thick overstuffed pizzas? There is a fabulous
just cheese pizza at Pavlov's. I normally like the thick ones
but wanted to try other placed. They delivered quickly and accurately.
The sauce they use is zippier than most and I found it rather addictive.
There is a large selection of items on the menu and I am looking
forward to trying more. Also for appetizer fans the beer nuggets
are yummy, fattening yes, but yummy.

| Sunprint Cafe | Madison, WI | |
|
Great for breakfast. I have not tried the lunch menu.
This place has some interesting selections. The first thing
I had there was the Tofu Scramble. It was very good. The tofu was
herbed and it was perfect. The potatoes they serve are spicey
and delicious. On my second visit I tried the Spinach, Feta, pepper
omlet. I can't remember the name but it was heavenly. I would highly
recommend this place. My favorite time to go is Sunday mornings
before the church crowd lets out. Just a nice atmosphere.

| China Luck | Anniston, AL | |
|
I no longer live in Anniston but was able to dine at this resturant
and multiple occasions. I found the food and service variable.
Some evenings the food was excellent as well as the service but
it seemed the busier the place, the quality declined. The lunch
specials were all reasonably priced and adequate. i would not
rate them poorly but nothing spectacular either.
The atmosphere was nice and the resturant always did appear clean and orderly. I would recommend it to friends but would not entertain important business there. |

| Top O the River | Anniston, AL | |
|
Although I am not a seafood lover, I did find the entrees I tried
there very satisfying. The shrimp was plentiful and not fishy
as the previous reviewer noted. The Cornbread and greens were
FAB. I try to avoid greasy and heavy appetisers but the Fried pickles
are a must if you like dills. I don't know if it is still on the menu
but the blackened halibut was most extraordinary.
The service was always very pleasent and efficient. This resturant tends to be very busy most of the time however I rarely had to wait more than in any other typical made to order resturant. I hightly recommend them. Also the atmosphere is such that you are not expected to be dressy but would not feel out of place even if you were there straight from church. Comfortable! |
