| Wagonmaster Steakhouse & Conve | Salt Lake City, UT | |
|
The food is pretty good here -- not the absolute best steak I've
ever had, but far from the worst. It's a really fun atmosphere,
though. Definitely fun for families, or even an outing with some
friends. You eat in your own covered wagon out on the "prarie."
The "local sheriff" or some other cowboys will come
talk to you and entertain you while you eat. quite fun!

| Burger Bar | Roy, UT | |
|
I'd give this place three stars, which, in my opinion, is
the best that ANY fast food restaurant can get. That being said,
Burger Bar rocks! This is a great old-fashioned greasy junk food
place to eat, and you get good portions for a great price. You also
can't beat their shakes and french fries! mmmm! I haven't
been there for some time, and I miss it...

| The Roof | Salt Lake City, UT | |
|
This is a great fancy, higher-class (if you want to call it that)
restaurant. There is a dress code, so expect to dress nice, and
pay a bit of a premium for the food, however it is well worth it,
in my opinion. This restaurant is perfect for a nice romantic
night out. Great views, great staff, great food. Definitely
worth the higher price you pay for it.

| Diamond Lils At the Old Salt City Jail | Salt Lake City, UT | |
|
In a word: Horrible. Way over-rated, over-priced, and the atmosphere
doesn't make up for the disgusting waiters or the poor service
either. Did I mention the food? NOT worth the money. I understand
that Diamond Lil's is not the original owner... apparently
they purchased it a couple of years ago. I know people used to rave
about this place, but ugh... maybe it's a new owner thing.
I'd rather eat at Burger King than this place.

| Macaroni Grill | Salt Lake City, UT | |
|
This place is pretty fun, but is always extremely crowded. it's
not uncommon to have to wait for 2 hours to get in (or maybe I have
bad luck). I wouldn't say it's worth the wait, so I don't
go here often. Good food, though, and a fun atmosphere. A lot of
people love the singing waiters!

| Maddox Ranch House | Brigham City, UT | |
|
Every time we eat at this restaurant, we get great food at a good
price. It's a nice atmosphere and we generally get good service
as well!

| Rodizio | Salt Lake City, UT | |
|
Very good food, and you wont go home hungry (unless you're
not a meat eater). My only real complaint with this place is it
is over-priced for what you get. But even with the high prices,
it's definitely worth eating there at least once. I've
been there twice -- once just to sit and eat, and one other time,
my company paid for it! They are known to serve some exotic meats
once in awhile, too... such as aligator and snake. I took my wife
to eat there, and $50 later, we were full.

| The Pie | Salt Lake City, UT | |
|
Excellent pizza and a fun place to eat. It's across the street
from the University of Utah, so expect a young, occasionally
rowdy crowd. I'm getting a little too old to go in there and
eat, but I still love the food -- and will still eat there if for
nothing else but to feel young and hip again.

| The Old Salt City Jail | Salt Lake City, UT | |
|
This place is highly over-rated -- every way you look at it. I heard
great things about the Salt City Jail for years, and I finally
went there and was utterly disappointed. It's over-priced
and the steaks are lower-quality than Sizzler. I thought it would
be a fun place to take my wife on our annaversary, but it turned
out horrible. The waiter that had so many piercings that it looked
like a tackle box blew up in his face only added to our disgust.
Terrible service, marginal food, unkempt waiters, and high
prices all point to one thing: don't waste your time or money.
Far away. Especially don't take a date here. bleh!

| Tony Roma's | Salt Lake City, UT | |
|
Good ribs, good steak..just plain good food. This outfit is owned
by the same folks that own Tuccis, but the service isn't nearly
as terrible. Reasonably priced, Tony Romas is a nice place to
eat.

| Timber Mine Restaurant | Ogden, UT | |
|
The timber mine is a wonderful steakhouse, and certainly the
best in the Ogden area. When Karl Malone used to play for the Jazz,
he has been spotted there numerous times, so you might even get
to see him there! Beyond that, good service, fun atmosphere (you
eat in a "mine shaft"), and reasonably priced considering
the food you get.
