The Caprice offers wonderful food selection, beautiful wines and a view that is out of this world. I would highly recommend The Caprice to anyone who would like to enjoy a wonderful meal with the back drop of the San Francisco and Marin for mood.

Outstanding! A deep bowl of red-brothed seafood--and what a broth! By itself I would order it! But hidden beneath the waves are at least two of everything: crab, clams, mussels, white fish, scallops, shrimp, oysters--I'm leaving something out. Wonderful! Fresh and delicious--and the broth makes it all into heaven. Wear casual, the restaurants not the thing--the Ciopinno is!

I've eaten here 6 times. This is the busiest restaurant in Marin County. 6 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Reservations are mandatory if you expect to get in. Valet parking. The full liquor bar is always crowded with beautiful people. Dining room is fancy. Alpine hunting lodge decor with the best in porcelain, silver, glassware on the tables. This is a meat lovers paradise.

The foodis always great, and Ashok (the head waiter) is always happy to make changes - less oil, no garlic, no onions, etc. The choices are very eclectic and taste great. The staff is helpfuland friendly.

My meal here several weeks ago was delicious and priced so low that it was surprising. ( B.T.W. They offer a "blue hair special" from 5:30 to 7:00 weeknights that is unreal - 3 course Fixe Prix for $15.50!!!) Menu changes daily. They buy what is fresh in the market and prepare that night. Wines are Frech and reasonably priced.

Located in the old Cat's Cafe building, Astigiano is now under the loving care of new owner/chef Giano, who has a very rich background in restaurant management and in the kitchen. Ask Chef Giano to cook for you and you might well be pleasantly surprised at his abilities in the kitchen.

The only downside to fork is that the ambiance is a bit pedestrian for such good food - but we go to eat right? Bring your wallet and your palate as this is a joy of a restaraunt.

This is American comfort food at its best. Top notch local farmer's market ingredients combined in playful ways that intrigue your mouth and mind. Richly satisfying flavors, wonderful mouth feel. Meal portions are generous, more so than the usual high priced restaurants. Dining room is a re-vamped large Victorian era wood house. Romantic at night with fireplace, low level lighting, & candles. Perfect date place. Lots of pretty people here.

The owners are friendly and are doing a great job! The rooms are really nice and the beds are super comfy! I can't wait till I can go there again!

The show was wonderful but dinner was fabulous! I had a dish that contained spinich, lamb and rice that was out of this world!!! My companions and I will never forget that evening and the delicious food!!!

Sushi Ran is the best sushi restaurant in the Bay Area, not just Sausalito or Marin County, the whole Bay Area. The food here is without par, and it is not limited to just the sushi. We love the various tastes available, and the addition of the new saki and wine bar next door has opened up a whole new venue for for fine dining and drinking. If you don't believe me, just try to get into this place on a weekend without a reservation! You too can be in the with "in" crowd...

I've eaten at the "best" restaurants in many cities, and Manka's is not only one of the very best in the San Francisco bay area, but one of the best in the world. The food is always superb--creative without being fussy.

Usually write long winded detailed descriptions. This one is easy. This is the BEST Thai food in Northern California. There are 100's of Thai places around SF. I've eaten in almost all of them. This one is the best!

Mikayla at the Casa Madrona is soon to under go some major changes. Currently housed in the old Casa Madrona, the "new" Mikalya is going to be moved from its current location on the roof to one of the floors of the "old" Village Fair building, which is also going to have new hotel rooms. Only time will tell if the new iteration is a good as the old food-wise, but the view will be very different. Let's hold a good thought for the new, while we fondly remember the old...

Our entire meal was delightful. I had venison that was done to perfection. The prime rib was also excellent. I would recommend everyone try it

Ted knows how to make great pizza. This place gets crowded and often there is a wait. Family run. Try the lasagna it's very rich but clearly tastes homemade and is worth the calorie splurge. We only wish they had more variety of toppings but by far the best pizza in Marin.

This restaurant should rank as the best Japanese Sushi Restaurant in Marin, let alone Novato. Clean, comfortable, if holds an ambience suitable for a relaxed evening out dining with the family, or partying with friends. Excellent for Sushi lovers or other clean tasting Japanese foods. If you try it once, no other Japanese restaurant will satisfy as much.
