The food is good, but we know that the price you pay is more for the
show than the quantity of food you get. Nonetheless, we stop for
dinner every time we stay at the Hilton, very convenient!

| Zachary's Chicago Pizza | Oakland, CA | |
|
Hands down, the best pizza place on the west coast! I would make
a stop here every time I visited the Bay Area--stuffed pizza has
everything you need in a very filling meal---A++++

| Zachary's Chicago Pizza | Berkeley, CA | |
|
All Zachary's have the absolutely best pizza in the Bay Area,
but try to stop by right before the big lunch or dinner rush. You
can even buy an already made pizza and put it in the oven at home!!!
A MUST stop for me!!

| Cactus Taqueria | Berkeley, CA | |
|
This restaurant is another must stop for a bite! I used to stop
here with family, so we could order 4 or 5 different items on the
menu and everything was always good to very good! Good atmosphere
as well.

| Barney's Solano | Berkeley, CA | |
|
Wow!! I almost forgot how good this place is!!! The burgers are
the best in the area! They have so many toppings, you can't
lose. Their fries are also pretty good. Careful with the lunch
rush here--could take a while. But worth a stop!

| Triple Rock Brewery | Berkeley, CA | |
|
I think the food we tried was just alright, but we enjoy a more noisy
atmosphere and you get it here. The beer is good and one of the few
places we found close enough to the school, and walking distance
to our house!

| Market Broiler | Riverside, CA | |
|
OK, where do I start? Great scallop skewers, shark, and cheese
potato!! Their seafood soup, calamari, and of course the bread
are also excellent! Try to go at any time other than 530-8pm, and
that's every night. The line and wait are the longest in town.
That's because this is the only really good seafood restaurant
in Riverside.

| Cask'n Cleaver | Riverside, CA | |
|
I was not impressed with this place...The steak was just OK, but
the salad bar was pitiful. I would much rather try one of the other
steak places in the Inland Empire now. The only positive note
I can give here is that it is quiet, but a little on the dark side.

| Joes Italian Restaurant | Riverside, CA | |
|
I finally got to try this place after hearing so many good things
about it. Well.....it's just alright for me. I grew up eating
lots of Italian food, so I had something to compare to. Not good
for the restaurant, but....If you want to eat a LOT and not spend
much, this is your place. The serving size is enormous. Both my
husband and I had to take half of the food home for the next day.

| Los Amigos Drive In Restaurant | Riverside, CA | |
|
My, my, my...how could I be the first to review this super duper
place?!! I grew up in Riverside, so have tried most of the Mexican
places, but this was one of my first. The burritos are awesome--highly
recommend. Lunch time can be a bit busy during the week.

| Old Spaghetti Factory The | Riverside, CA | |
|
OK, a must stop for anyone wanting to enjoy a great looking restaurant--everything
around you is unique and very interesting (like the bed you eat
on!). The service is fast and friendly and the garlic butter for
the bread is yummy! The quality of the food is so-so for me, but
you do get enough to fill you up.

||
| La Colimense Bakery Restaurant | Riverside, CA | |
|
No longer around, but they definitely had the best tortas (Mexican
sandwiches) in Riverside!!! They also made some pretty good
birthday/wedding cakes. I don't know where they moved??
|
||
| Edo Japan | Riverside, CA | |
|
For a fast food spot at the Galleria, pretty good. I always get
their seafood bowl, shrimp, fish and scallops over rice and veggies.
Cooked right in front of you.Definitely prefer this spot than
the others on the second floor.

||
| El Rancho Restaurant | Chino, CA | |
|
I ate at this restaurant a few years ago and tried the wet burrito---great!!
The carne asada was good as well. I agree with the parking--a problem.
|
||
| Bakery Cafe | Berkeley, CA | |
|
Good bakery goods and coffee. It's hard to choose where to
go in this area, but this is a safe bet.

| Ray's Pizza | New York, NY | |
|
Oh my goodness!! Soooo delicious!! Every time I stop in NY, I try
to come here for their pizza. All I ask for is their yummy cheese
pizza. My mouth is watering thinking about it!!
|
||
| El Quijote Bar & Restaurant | New York, NY | |
|
I stopped year about a year ago and was very pleased with our order--lobster
and seafood rice. The wait was a bit much, but I understand it's
usually like this. Tapas were pretty authentic.

||
| Mandalay Bay | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
Wow!! That describes how I felt after sampling a plate (or two)
for the first time at this buffet. Everything, and I mean everything
was perfect!! I especially like the scallop dishes, and the selection
of shrimp they have. EXCELLENT!!
|
||
| Rio Hotel | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
Everyone has to try this buffet at least once in their many trips
to Vegas. They have a little bit of everything here, but not always
the best tasting or quality. It's really impossible to try
it all with one trip, so definitely try more the second time around.
|
||
| Pharaohs Pheast Buffet At the Luxor | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
The food was just alright. I didn't like the horrible wait
in line and all the noise, but it's what to expect from more
of a family-oriented buffet, I guess.
