| Crown Burgers | Salt Lake City, UT | |

Ok when I was a vegetarian I would volunteer to go pick up lunch
for the store just so I could smell the burgers in there- and to
get the best root beer float in the world!!! Seriously, a float
and a burger and I am going to sleep in under 10 minutes. I feel like
a King after eating a gigantic tasty burger, the best fries anyone
in SLC has and a HUGE root beer float.

| Su Casa Mexican Restaurant | Salt Lake City, UT | |
|
Su Casa is a good place for lunch or early dinner in summer. Sure,
the place is poorly decorated but this isnt a date- you are there
with a buddy. The chips are great- the salsa is good- and they will
smother your meal in enough cheese to make your heart stop. Thats
good right?

| P F Changs China Bistro | Salt Lake City, UT | |
|
There isn't anything you can do to get me to search for a parking
spot just to eat here (I was a valet for years so I know better than
to let them park it). There is no payoff. Wait... what exactly
is a Chinese...Bistro? I am confused. Oh right right- marketing
buzzword got it. Thats what you want to eat? Marketing? Next,
has anyone ever even been able to actually see their food while
eating there? This must be the darkest eating establishment
in existance! Someone commented about how other PF Changs were
better- sure, I'll give you that- Better but still not good.
This is one of those places people go to for location (Delta center
and hotel van accessable) or because they are scared to try something
new- somewhere local. Save your money- go to Red Rock and have
Chinese food another night. VERY DISSAPPOINTED.
To be fair- the lettuce wraps are good- that's why it got 2
stars and not just 1.

| Kyoto Japanese Restaurant | Salt Lake City, UT | |
|
Most Honorable Sushi. This fish will bring Happy Lucky Fortune
to Whole Family. Banish the idea of going anywhere better in Utah
to the Land of Wind and Ghosts.
Freshest fish at any sushi place in Utah; comparable to New York
and San Francisco. A lot of people don't understand that sushi
chefs go through intense training on the exactness of how the
fish is to be cut. There is a proper way to display the fish. Their
chefs are amazing. Are you that guy that puts too much soy sauce
on your roll? You just let it soak in the cup- no worries. These
guys are also masters of the roll. Get the Spider Roll and be able
to bite it in half without feeling like some stupid American that
can't eat sushi without making a mess. I love the seating in there
too. The waitresses are more than helpful with answering your
questions and they look very authentic while doing so.
Be sure to check out the bonsai trees, paintings, and the waitress's
Ikebana (Japanese flower arrangements). A truely great experience
starting with the exterior landscaping straight through to
the ice cream. Thanks Kyoto... You have my gratitude!

| Stoneground | Salt Lake City, UT | |
|
Ok my credentials first:
I grew up in South Philadelphia, didn't have pasta sauce
out of a can until I was 19, and have become a huge pasta snob.
Go to Stoneground! Simple- go there. They are the only place in
Utah that understands that pasta is to be served al dente (if this
phrase confuses you then you dont deserve Stoneground- go to
somewhere like Pasta Warehouse and eat overcooked, starchy
pasta). They understand that to make good pizza it needs to be
cooked. Odd huh? Fully cooked pizza AND good cheese? Too much
for one place. Head there on Sunday and look for me eating ALL YOU
CAN EAT during their special SIN SUNDAY... Oh, and get the bruschetta-
it got the Mom seal of approval...
