| Sweetriver Saloon | Santa Rosa, CA | |
|
Absolutely awesome!! Sweet River is definitely one of the best
places to relax and enjoy great food for lunch with family, friends,
or a date. I had probably the best burger ever and for dessert,
a genuine peanut butter milkshake!! Really a treat.

| Johny Garlic's | Santa Rosa, CA | |
|
Johnny Garic's can fill you up guaranteed. I've never
gorged myself on so much zesty garlicky food. The seafood I had
was delicious and not too pricy. The pasta stuffed me like a thanksgiving
turkey. Excellent for any occasion. (if you like garlic by the
way.)

| Fresh Choice | Santa Rosa, CA | |
|
I like fresh choice, and i don't like buffets. Nutrition
is important to me, and I like the idea of making the food's
nutritional value visible so you can stay healthy (if you so choose).
The food is good, a little plain, but its the trade off for healthy.

| Foster Freeze | Santa Rosa, CA | |
|
I'm from the old school. Foster Freeze IS old school. Good
food with big portions. more than worth the money.

| Blue Lakes Lodge | Upper Lake, CA | |
|
I was not impressed with any part of the Blue Lakes Lodge. A friend
referred us there but later said he wouldn't eat there if
you paid him. At first glance, the place looks nice. Clean parking
area, etc.. Even clean inside. But the hostess was missing a few
teeth. Then, our table. No table cloth, scratched up old table.
The hostess, now a waitress, brougt us some stale bread, ice cold
butter, and a watery whiskey sour. About then, I caught a glimpse
of the "chef". A dirty old man with an afro and no hair
net, or apron. The night continued with cold food and bad service
until my wife and I vowed never to return.

| Tnt On the Lake | Lakeport, CA | |
|
TnT's is an adorable little restaurant on a beautiful setting.
The Margaritas are to die for and I'v never had any bad food
there. The service is however lacking as the hostess is a mean
old woman and the waitstaff is not focused. Not bad but not my first
choice.

| D J's Pizza | Lower Lake, CA | |
|
Dj's now known as Lower Lake Pizza Co. is probably the best
deal for your pizza dollar in southshore area. The crust is good,
thick zesty sauce. lotsa real cheese and toppings. The perfect
example of California pizza. Also clean facility, spacious
clean parking, and friendly local staff.

||
| Robert French Restaurant | Lower Lake, CA | |
|
Defenitely not what you expect to find in little Lower lake. Robert's
resembles something in the Napa Valley or France. The food is
elegant and authentic, but a little to stuffy for the local crowd.

| Konocti Harbor Resort & Spa | Kelseyville, CA | |
|
Classic Rock Cafe is WAY OVERPRICED. the food is average, nondescript,
and sometimes luke warm. Too crowded half of the time, empty and
desolate the other half. I've met and dined with many rock
stars though which is the biggest reason I dine there.

| Villa Corona | Saint Helena, CA | |
|
Villa Corona is an oustanding mexican restaurant. Prime location
is a big plus for this local hot spot. The food is excellent and
brought to you quickly and cheerfully. Kind of crowded but, it
is a popular lunch stop. St. Helena locals and regulars know all
about Villa Corona and their great food.

||
| La Prima Pizza | Saint Helena, CA | |
|
Best pizza in St. Helena. Restaurant could be cleaner and fixed,
but food is killer. Burgers and ribs included in the menu. Cooked
just right. Salads big and full, you never leave hungry. Could
be a little faster but worth the wait. Worth stopping in.

||
| Ana's Cantina | Saint Helena, CA | |
|
Ana's Cantina is a very relaxed atmosphere. Food is good
authentic mexican and prepared quickly. Ana and staff are very
friendly and on a fist name basis with regulars. Full bar and quaint
pool table for those interested in more than just food. Hundreds
of dollar bills stuck on the ceiling as a kind of sign in book represent
the good times held there.

||
| The Spot | Saint Helena, CA | |
|
Excellent location, clean and accessable parking and one rip
roaring awesome cheeseburger are a few of the things that give
"The Spot" enough satisfied customers to give the
other burger joints a run for their money. Atentive and pleasant
staff too. Beer and wine along with some delicious entrees complete
a small and simple menu but there's no need for an extensive
array of dishes, they're all satisfying.

| Checkers | Calistoga, CA | |
|
I was not pleased with the service, food, or the clenliess of Checker's.
I'm not a tough critic, but when I have to wait 45 minutes and
pay nearly 20 bucks for a turkey sandwich I can make better at home.
I can't justify giving a good review. The pizza is ok, but
I've had better, faster and cheaper. The building also needs
more of a remodel than a fresh coat of paint. Sorry checker's,
there's a lot to work on.

| Sarafornia Cafe | Calistoga, CA | |
|
What a cute little cafe!! my wife exclaimed as we walked through
the doors of the cafe Sarafornia. I have been there 4 times total
and I think I'm still full from the last visit. If you're
really hungy, this it it. Look no further. Breakfast served all
day for hearty eaters. Many organic choices. It's a little
crowded and busy, but that's because customers are satisfied.
Good business speaks for itself.

| Home Plate | Calistoga, CA | |
|
Home plate cafe has everything for the sports fan. The walls are
decorated with sports memorabllia from many years. Mostly baseball,
(hence the name "Hme Plate") you can see posters and
stuff from famous games like the 1989 world series "Battle
of the Bay" for example. Decent quick food, low prices,
a great place for the family.

| Main Street Cafe | Clearlake, CA | |
|
I watched this restaurant grow for the last 28 or so years and it
has become one of the most comfortable dining places in Lake Co.
and Northern Ca.
|
||
| Kathies Inn | Clearlake, CA | |
|
Kathies is a decent restaurant it is just understaffed. The parking
has expanded some and the food, in my opinion, is the finest american
traditional dining in the city of Clearlake. It's no Institute
for Culonary Arts but it's a comfortable atmosphere.
|
||
| Taylor's Refresher | Saint Helena, CA | |
|
Taylors refresher is an excellent lunch stop in beautiful wine
country. Outdoor dining area and very clean and ample parking.
Fast and friendly service and killer american gourmet hamburgers
make Taylors the most popular burger shop in town. A little pricy
for burgers but it's more than worth it
|
||
| Silverado Brewing Company and Restaurant | Saint Helena, CA | |
|
Silverado brewing co. definitely hits the spot with some excellent
micro brews and good hearty american food that keeps me coming
back at lunchtime. Very clean facility both restaurant and brewery.
Good parking space, and staff that is so friendly, they'll
even call safe transport home if you've sampled a bit too
much of their seasonl microbrews. Less expensive than others
in town so there's more money for beer.
"It takes a lot of great beer to make good wine!!"
