| El Farolito | Placentia, CA | |
|
I lived one block from this restaurant so naturally I was there
a lot.
Authentic mexican. At least authentic immigrant mexican.
Food very average, not much in the way of originality. It's
OK to say the place is just average even though the owners are immigrangts.

| Mini Gourmet | Placentia, CA | |
|
I like the blandness of this place.
When you don't want to go to a chain and aren't looking
for gourmet, his fits the bill.
The staff are friendly, the food is consistent, and the atmosphere
is to my liking.
the kids like it too

| Pick Up Stix | Placentia, CA | |
|
I resisted going here for a long time. The name told me "beware".
Since I lived within a mile of the place, it eventually became
impossible to ignore. I wish I had more will power.
Food is so average, so assembly line, so "pick up your order
and get out", that it carries over to when you eat it. Nothing
good but not really bad. After twenty minutes, I wasn't hungry
again, just wondering where my money went.

| Tlaquepaque Restaurant | Placentia, CA | |
|
I would echo the other review about the place being run down. Run
down yes, dirty no.
I lived one block from here. Never ate the cooked "food"
but did get the pastries and bakeery items on a regular basis.
This is the real deal. This is what mexican americans eat. If you
want to learn about cultures, check out where and what they eat.
This is a good place to do it. Marriachi bands on sunday at no extra
cost

| Main Street Restaurant | Yorba Linda, CA | |
|
Owners are mexican and italian. The food reflects it. Some great
dishes, homemade tortilla chips, outdoor patio, live music
on weekends.
A great place for a quiet time or with the family.
Portions are generous, the chips keep coming, and the owners
are very gtracious and appreciative.
I lived in the next town for 10 years and this was our place to go,
and go, and go.
If you don't see it on the menu, ask and they will make it if
they have the ingredients.

| Walt's Wharf | Seal Beach, CA | |
|
Walt's Wharf is the place for locals and happy hour. One block
off the beach in Old Town, you can always find a buddy at the bar.
It does get very crowded though in good weather and weekends.
The drinks and atmosphere are better than the food. Seafood is
grilled and a lot of the time it is left on too long.
A great wine list though.
Windows on the street for people watching.

| Ma Glockner's | Bellingham, MA | |
|
the most over rated boring restaurant in the area.

|

|
||
| Joan & Ed's Deli Restaurant | Natick, MA | |
|
a cross between a deli and a new york diner.
corned beef comes either reguar or extra lean.
kugel is consistently good. highly recommended.
an extra treat are the signs with very funny sayings such as in
the men's room: "objects in the mirror may be smaller
than they appear"
|
||
| Lola's | Oak Bluffs, MA | |
|
casual in a formal kind of way.
food is excellent. large dining room. great location. we had
a lot of fun and the staff was very accommodating.
|
||
| Jame's Roadside Cafe | Wrentham, MA | |
|
trendy place for breakfast. I think it's a bit overpriced
and they tend to overcook the eggs and potatoes. But it is extremely
popular.
name is James' not Jame's.

||
| B & F House Of Pizza | Waltham, MA | |
|

good. I get lunch there every week or so. they take care in preparation
and it tastes like it
