| Mama Mia's Italian Restuarante | Hollywood, FL | |
|
This restaurant has a nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor
dining. The waitresses were pleasant and efficient. Good salad,
fresh hot bread and delicious eggplant parmigiana done just
right. Large selection of desserts. Tiramisu was very good as
was the spumoni.

| Lychee Garden Chinese Restaurant | Miami, FL | |
|
My family has eaten in this restaurant several times. Sometimes
the food is very good, sometimes average - not at all consistent.
Their 'brown rice' is white rice mixed with soy sauce
- sometimes not very well mixed. Usually the service was good.
The restaurant closes at 9 pm. The last time I ate there with my
daughter, we were the last customers to leave. We were not lingering
over our food but had to hurry to finish as the staff had CLOSED
the lights in the other dining rooms and were hovering around
waiting to go home. This was a very unpleasant experience and
we never went back to this restaurant.

The food in this restaurant is consistently delicious. Good

| Mott Street Chinese Restaurant | Hallandale, FL | |
|
We have eaten at this restaurant many times. The food is consistently
good. I love the wonton soup and the big crispy noodles served
with it. One of my favorites is Shrimp Chow Fun, which is shrimp
served with thick egg noodles. Large, comfortable restaurant
with good service.

| Mr Greek Deli | Hollywood, FL | |
|
I have often eaten lunch here and always enjoyed my meals. Servings
are generous and the owners are friendly. There is not much in
the way of atmosphere but the food makes up for it. Try the baklava
for dessert.

| Emperor's Garden | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
Restaurant located on second floor in Chinatown Plaza. Greens
and veggies in Wonton Soup - good flavor. Tasty Spring Roll. I
love Honey Walnut Shrimp and was not disappointed. Servings
were very large. I was given 24 shrimp and had some to take home.
(Happy, happy!) The tea was delicately flavored and had a delightful
fragrance. Our waitress, though very busy, was pleasant and
friendly. The only downside was they do not serve dessert. We
will definitely visit this restaurant again!

| Paparazzi Grille | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
Italian, steak, seafood - delicious! Nice atmosphere, attentive
wait staff, good service. Salads were fresh and crisp, hot bread,
tasty shrimp and steak. Pasta and sauce cooked just right. Interesting
dessert menu. This restaurant is a surprising jewel in a very
ordinary hotel and casino.

| Sizzler | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
Sizzler's steaks are usually good and sometimes not. Their
broiled shrimp skewers are a very good value and very tasty. I
like their hot cheese bread. They have an all-you-can-eat salad
bar, Mexican food and pasta as well. Yogurts from the machine
with toppings to add if desired, fresh fruit or jello for dessert.

| Port O' Call Buffet At Sun Coast Hotel | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
We had lunch at this buffet for a social function and had an enjoyable
time. The staff had set aside a few tables for the group and were
very helpful and courteous. The eating area is large and comfortable.
They, like their sister buffet at Suncoast, have a number of ethnic
food stations. I always start with the cold peel-and-eat shrimp
which were tasty, cooked just right - not mealy. The prime rib
and turkey sliced to order, mashed potatoes, gravy - all good
- but not as good as the Suncoast. Also a large variety of baked
goods. It is difficult to avoid binging on their dessert offerings.
A good spot for lunch or dinner as the lines are never long.

| Klondike Hotel & Casino | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
My husband and I had breakfast one day and dinner here a few days
later - because we received coupons for a free meal for two each
time. Being fairly new residents, we like to try 'em all.
The restaurant has no atmosphere whatsoever. The waitress at
breakfast was harried because she was the only server working
at that time. There were few menu choices and the french toast
and coffee were unremarkable. At dinner, we tried the (you guessed
it!) prime rib dinner. Small uninspired salad, mashed potatoes,
pie for dessert. Again, all unremarkable. 'Dinner'
was a bit more leisurely. I felt like I had stepped back in time
to a no-frills restaurant in a small unmemorable town. Not at
all like the restaurant in the Golden Nugget which was loaded
with delightful, old-time atmosphere. But that's for another
review!

| Restaurante De Fiori At San Remo Hotel and Ca ... | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
When my husband and I first arrived in Las Vegas, prior to purchasing
our home, we stayed at the Hotel San Remo for three weeks. Consequently,
we ate a number of meals at their 24-hour restaurant. One of my
pet peeves is lack of recognition from the hotel staff. Yes, I
know they get a lot of tourists but considering all the times we
ate at this restaurant, I would expect the host/hostess to be
more friendly rather than indifferent.
They have a small buffet area within the restaurant; it is not
separate. I ate at the buffet twice and checked it out several
more times to see what was being offered. The buffet is small -
the smallest I have seen in a hotel/casino. There are not many
food choices and not many dessert choices. The food was good but
unremarkable and the offerings were pretty much the same each
day. The restaurant is medium-sized, pleasant atmosphere. Their
breakfast and dinner menus had a large variety of foods. Rarely
did we have to repeat. We each enjoyed all the meals we had there.
My only complaint was their much-touted prime rib dinner at $5.95.
The meat was chewy - not tender - with not much flavor. And the servings
were small. Other than that, everything else was enjoyable.
A memorable dessert is the Alligator Pie which actually is a delicious
brownie covered with hot fudge and mint chocolate chip ice cream.
YUM - I highly recommend it to dessert lovers! Dining here was
a pleasant experience overall.

| Sammy's Woodfired Pizza | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
This is an upscale pizza and pasta restaurant. To my pleasant
surprise, the other diners were nicely dressed - which is NOT
a Las Vegas norm. The pizza menu offers usual and unusual combinations.
The salads were HUGE. Wait staff were attentive. The food was
very good and we will definitely visit Sammy's again.

| Buffet Asia | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
We dined at Buffet Asia within the first month of opening. There
is always a crowd waiting to be seated at this Chinese buffet.
I know this because we often pass this restaurant on the way to
other places and their parking lot is consistently full of cars.
The hostess and wait staff were very pleasant. There were a number
of soups, main dishes and desserts. The food was enjoyable and
fresh-tasting. The trays were refilled as soon as needed. However,
there were Mongolian dishes offered as well and I would have preferred
more Chinese dishes. I only once dined at a Chinese buffet that
offered more than standard fare. That was when we lived in Miami
- but that is for another review. If you are not seeking anything
beyond standard Chinese buffet offerings, I would recommend
you try Buffet Asia.

| Blueberry Hill | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
This is a happy place to have breakfast. The morning waitresses
are so cheerful and pleasant. I love blueberry pancakes and I
love their blueberry pancakes. They put blueberries IN the pancake
mix which I have not been able to find for a long time. And they also
have good coffee. I am a breakfast purist and like traditional
breakfast foods for my first meal of the day.
However, they also serve Mexican style omelets with various
kinds of great-smelling fillings for those of you who do not have
to gastronomically E A S E into the day. My adult son says these
are delicious!
If you are in the mood for dinner like mother used to make, they
serve wonderful comfort food. Meatloaf, chicken pie, mashed
potatoes with gravy, big slices of home-baked pie and cake.
Writing this review is reminding me it's time to stop in and
have my blueberry pancakes again! (Or maybe this time I'll
try the pumpkin pancakes with a slice of ham).

| IHOP | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
IHOP's for breakfast is a great way to start the day! I love
their crepes - German served with lemon butter, Swedish served
with lingonberry butter or French served with orange marmalade.
The crepes are thin and slightly crispy on the outside and very
tasty. I also like their Grain and Nut pancakes served with blueberry
compote on days when I am VERY hungry. Their coffee is good and
their waitresses are pleasant and cheerful.

| Suncoast French Market Buffet | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
Large and comfortable seating area. Cashiers are very fast and
we have never had to wait more than five minutes to be seated. They
have a number of food stations with good quality and choices of
entrees and side dishes - Seafood, Italian, Mexican, Chinese,
American - and a very large variety of delicious baked goods made
on the premises. We have dined here five times and are always more
than satisfied.

| Beinhana Village | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
Nice atmosphere, attentive wait staff. Japanese food is not
on my favorites list because I find the food overall too bland
for my liking. However, I went along with the suggestion to try
it again in the hopes that this restaurant would change my mind.
The broiled shrimp was dry with very little taste. Salad, soup,
etc. were 'interesting' but I did not have the feeling
of satisfaction that completion of a really good meal gives me.

| Eliseevsky Russian European Cafe | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
Rustic interior like a home to be found in the Russian countryside.
Very homey and comfortable. Staff friendly and attentive young
Russian men. Delicious food - and lots of it. It was difficult
to make a decision from the appealingly described entrees and
side dishes and we all enjoyed our dinners. Great flavors were
a delight to the taste buds and we will definitely eat in this restaurant
again!

| Senor Miguels | Las Vegas, NV | |
|
Ambiance that is usually found in more expensive restaurants.
Very large and comfortable booths. The service was good and the
food great. I ordered one of my favorites: shrimp fajitas. Shrimp
were big and juicy. Rice, beans, salsa, guacamole - so much food
we all had to take home 'doggie bags'. All four of us enjoyed
our meals and will definitely visit this restaurant again!
