Lunches are around $6, dinner entrees are basically $10. Lots
and lots of sushi, they also have good desserts, including ice
cream (mochi, green
tea, and excellent ginger), tempura pineapple (good when you
have a cold), and the amazing tempura cheesecake with light fruit
sauce.

| Big House Grill | Albany, NY | |
|
Decent food, but nothing stellar. I thought the prices were a
little high for the atmosphere and quality. It is a restaurant
spin off of the sucessful downtown albany brew pub the Big House.
They do have some good microbrews. Not a bad place, but nothing
stellar except maybe the beers

| Tokyo of Brooklyn | Brooklyn, NY | |

Hibachi Dinners comes with soup, house salad withginger dressing,
hibachi vegtables, steamed rice and green tea.
Traditional Japanese cuisine in a room with aromantic setting
|
||
| Primorski Restaurant | Brooklyn, NY | |
|
Primorski (means "by-the-sea" and it is). With stained
glass windows of a nautical theme, long rows of tables, with white
table cloths, and live music on weekends, it is loaded with atmosphere.
The food is traditional, hearty and good, but not for the colesterol
conscious.
You can always order from the menu. If you are celebrating a special
occasion with a group of 8-10 or more, consider reservng a "banquet"
table, at $35-50 a head, which includes vodka, 2'-3'
gorgeous fruit baskets as centerpieces, large cold platters
of salads, pickled vegetables, smoked fish and delicious homebaked
bread stuffed with melted cheese and entrees and desserts for
all. (How much is included depends upon the price per head you
choose.)
The festive evening starts with traditional (charming) Russian
music for the "old folks." As grandma, grandpa, mom
and pop start to leave, a younger, hipper crowd begins to fill
the place up and the music turns to kitchy Russian disco music
with current U.S. hits piped in when the band takes its breaks.
The crowd is enthusiastic and the youngsters attractive in their
"club" finery. This is not a jeans or sweat pants scene.
If you like to eat, drink and dance. Primoski will provide you
with a terrific evening for $25-$50 per person
