| Restaurant Name | City |
Rating

| Las Margaritas | Redmond, WA | |
the food is typical mexican. it's decent if you're in
the area and want mexican food but i wouldn't go out of the
way for it.
| Chevys Fresh Mex | Lynnwood, WA | |
some people love this place but i honestly don't understand
it. it's like tgifridays for mexican food - too much "flare"
and not enough substance. to each their own.
| Rositas Mexican Restaurant | Seattle, WA | |
this place is close to home so it's frequently visited. the
food is better than average for american mexican restaurants
and the margaritas are great. plus they've got a decent happy
hour. if you're ever in greenlake and need a quick mexican
fix, this is the place.

| Pietro's Pizza Restaurants Overlake | Bellevue, WA | |
pietro's!!! i've never been to this actual location
but i grew up going to pietro's and have many fond memories.
it's a fun place for groups, and one of the last places that
served green river.

| Izzy's Pizza Restaurant | Kirkland, WA | |
i suppose you might have the inclination to gorge yourself on
massive amounts of greasy buffet food, but i'm not sure why.
i'd avoid this place like the plague.

| Tony Romas | Lynnwood, WA | |
this place does have some tasty food, but i wouldn't necessarily
go there for the ribs. there are many more authentic bbq places
around, but this isn't bad for a commercialized substitute.
it's good for groups so everyone can find something they
like.
| Subs Sandwiches | Seattle, WA | |
subs is pretty good. the food is heartier and less commercialized
than subway. the sandwiches are pretty good, but not great. it's
a quick and easy lunch stop.
| The Brooklyn Seafood Steak & Oyster House | Seattle, WA | |
this place is simply awesome. the staff is extremely knowledgeable
about the extravagent menu. their happy hour is about all i can
afford, but it's well worth it. the oyster bar is good. the
brooklyn is definitely in the upper echelon of seattle's
fine-dining options.
| Ivar's Salmon House | Seattle, WA | |
the chowders are great. it's a classic seattle dining institution,
much like dick's. ivar's however offers quality food
and a better atmosphere (it's not hard to beat a parking lot).
definitely check it out if you've never been.
| Spud Fish & Chips | Kirkland, WA | |
this place may be an icon, but that doesn't necessarily make
it good. it's amazingly greasy - to the point of making you
feel ill after attempting to consume almost anything on their
menu. i don't think i'll ever have the inclination to
return.
| Honey Court Seafood Restaurant | Seattle, WA | |
this is a great late-night escape after a night out. do they even
close? the food is good. the dimsum is also good, but i'd avoid
the chicken feet. of course that's just a personal preference.
i've been told they are good for those that are into that sort
of thing.
| El Gaucho | Seattle, WA | |
if you want a phenomenal dining experience and money is not an
issue, this is the place. the service is great. the food is spectacular.
the wines are exceptional. if you just want to pop in and check
out the atmosphere, try the cigar bar.
| Wasabi Bistro | Seattle, WA | |
i seem to hear a fair amount of "buzz" around wasabi
bistro, but the place hasn't lived up to the hype. i've
been there a few times and have never found the service or food
to be exceptional. the atmosphere and decor are the best parts
of this restaurant.
| Rama On Post Thai Restaurant | Seattle, WA | |
this place has good food, attentive service, and exceptionally
quick delivery of your order. i've only been there once,
but my friend who goes there often said it's always like that.
i'd definitely go back again.
| Emerald Thai Cuisine | Seattle, WA | |
i had several people tell me this was the best thai food they'd
ever had. i tried it but wasn't that impressed. maybe it was
just bad timing.
| Old Spaghetti Factory | Tacoma, WA | |
this is a great place to take large groups. it's kind of fun
and quaint, in a sort of americanized-italian way. the food is
only average, but at least it's filling.
| Ruby Tuesday | Tacoma, WA | |
it's another in a long line of annoying american chains.
the "flair" in this place is off the charts. the service
is adequate, but delivery is comically slow. i doubt i'll
return unless i get gift certificates or someone else takes me
there.
| German Pastry & Coffee Shop | Tacoma, WA | |
this place has crazy german imports! it's worth checking
out purely for the cultural experience, much less the food.
| East & West Cafe | Tacoma, WA | |
this place used to be AWESOME back in the day. everything was delicious.
you never knew whether or not they were going to be open.
<br>
then they got all serious and did a major renovation/expansion.
i've been back and the food is still good, but it's just
not the same. regardless, it's one of the better thai options
in tacoma.
| From the Bayou | Spanaway, WA | |
people rave about this place, and for good reason. the menu is
composed of tasty, if unusual, creations. it's more expensive
than a normal dinner place, but well worth it. check it out the
next time you want to surprise or impress someone.
