Very reasonably priced and good Thai food. Go easy when they ask how hot you want the food unless you're very sure, I like spicy food and medium is hot enough for me!

Excellent view of Boundary Bay and the Gulf Islands, trendy menu I especially recommend the smokehouse dishes which are prepared at the restaurant. In peak season, be prepared to wait for a table, even if you have a reservation! The upper deck serves a limited menu (burgers, sandwiches, etc.) and drinks, and did not take reservations last year (2000). House wines and beers are recommended.

Good view of the waterfront from some tables. Eclectic decor. Service excellent when I've been there. Some exquisite wines that you don't find at every restaurant. Rely on your server to help you through the menu as they change it frequently and it is unusual. Often have live entertainment or dancing weekends, check in advance or you may get a surprise if you're a late diner.

Solid Greek cuisine, very popular spot right on the strip. Check out the Greek and belly dancing Friday and Saturday nights! (Make sure you have a reservation).

Popular spot for drinks and good menu, fish and chips are better down the street though. Service is rather slow so kick back and enjoy the view, sit out on the patio if you possibly can.

Can be hard to find, second floor near the Ocean Beach Hotel. If you can get a window table, a good spot to people watch. Menu is iffy but what would you expect, check the name! Mind, it's a change from all the seafood I guess!

I can't believe Uli's is unrated! Excellent restaurant, many many excellent dishes and the specials are always worth a close look. Very hard to get a table in season without reservations, so make one. It will be very busy so don't be in a hurry.

Very good breakfast and lunch spot near Five Corners. The best turkey sandwich in White Rock! Fresh squeezed juices, too. I did see an advertisement that the Hungry Heart was up for sale tho'.... Not licensed.

Solid dine-in fish 'n chips/seafood restaurant chain with several batter options. Try the Cajun!

Awesome pizza! Good selection of Greek and other dishes also. Very small dining room but does a roaring take-out business.

Hey, it's Earl's! Fun atmosphere, friendly host(ess) and servers, good food and reasonably priced. Check out the house wine or beer, and the feature menu is usually worth a second look.

Ho-hum. The offerings here justified the reputation that the English have for terrible food. Service was not worth 15% either. If this place was not in a mall, they would not survive.

This was a pleasant surprise! You would not expect to find the calibre of cuisine, nor the atmosphere that has been created, in this location. Check Elisabeth's out!

Rather uninspired assortment of pasta and pizza with a few steak and seafood dishes thrown in. Service left something to be desired.

I have been to at least ten different Earl's locations and this is without question the worst managed. And this is based on three visits (sorry, that's three strikes, yer OUT!). Srevice is atrocious and when brought to the attention of supervisors, no satisfaction forthcoming. Cold, or on one occasion burnt, food was offered. I can think of nothing good to say about this one, sorry Earl! (All the other ones I've been to are great, too bad I live about 1/2-mile away from this one, sigh).

Good, friendly atmosphere, interesting variety of dishes on the menu. Special way of celebrating occasions! A nice spot!

The food here is okay, but the service can be iffy and the bar next door can be noisy, which brings down the overall experience.

Drinks and appetizers, the piano player is good if you get him to take your requests.

Good roadhouse type fare and good drinks, the Cactus Club is fairly consistent throughout Greater Vancouver area. Upbeat crowd, service is usually good too.

Excellent fare, especially at the price! Custom mix 'n match your favourite pasta with your favourite sauce. My all time fave is gnocchi with dijon chicken...mmmm..... Decent wine list or if you're driving, try the italian soft drinks (I'm partial to Limonata). Great cappucino, too. btw if you go for lunch, order the large size and you'll have enough left over for dinner!
