The food is good. It has been a while since I have been to the corn patch but I always recomend it to people. The only thing to describe the food is that it is IOWA food. Big portions.

This place is a must to eat at when in port aransas. There is a good variety of food to choose from, and anything seafood is good since this is an area known for good fish. If you like good food and a view of the gulf, this is a great place to eat.

gino's has great onion rings. They also have good steak and shrimp. The italian foods are great. The wait staff is polite. I have eaten there many times and I can say that it is a great place to take a date or celebrate an aneversery.

I go to chili king almost every sunday that I have the lunch hour off with my dad. I cant say that I have ever had a bad meal there. If your into a fancy place with a well dressed wait staff then this isnt the place for you. If you are into cafe style food and the occasional good laugh, then this is the place for you. This place is a must if you are in the small town of polk city. Located on the square, it is a cozy little pizzaria that opened in the late 90's. No matter what tipe of pizza you prefer, this place makes some of the best pizza around. They have some good hot wings as well. Be careful when ordering these things though. They are HOT depending on what flavor you try. Over all, I would say this place is worth stoping in to.

Rock bottom has great food. They also have a good selection of micro brew beers to choose from that are brewed in house. If you like local bands then check this pub out on a friday.

A great place to eat in ankeny. Bears had been around ankeny for a long time. Someone told me you can always tell a good place to eat by how long they have been around. Sometimes on a friday night there is a long wait. The wait is worth it though because the food is great. You can go next door to a bar called the yankee clipper and they will call over there when your table is ready. With service like that, you cant loose.

sheffields makes the best ruban in the des moines area. They also have pizza by the slice and many different salads and sandwiches to choose from. Its a good choice for a fast lunch.
