| Charlie Kang's Restaurant | East Lansing, MI | |
|
Admittedly, the atmosphere leaves something to be desired -
it's your typical jeans and tshirt, college town, poorly decorated
Asian restaurant.
However, the food is -very- good, some of the best (and most authentic) Korean you can get in the area. On food alone, I'd give 4 stars. |

| Signature's American Grill | East Lansing, MI | |
|
The food is good, and the atmosphere relaxed and casual. It has
consistently good entrees and service, but not the extra qualities
to merit a better rating.
It's a very nice place to relax after you've finished the nine hole golf course associated with the restaurant. While you're sipping your imported beer, I recommend trying the black bean soup. |

| Roadhouse Pub | East Lansing, MI | |
|
The "Roadhouse" is a Spartan standby, and even though I've only
given it 2 stars, it's more fun than that rating would lead one
to believe. The closely related Harrison Roadhouse restaurant
is a star better in atmosphere and service if you desire.
The Pub has a couple of pool tables and a dart board or two, and it's a small but fun place to catch one of the Spartan hockey games with some friends. The drink specials are average, and the kitchen a little slow, but that's not why you're there anyway. Bring some friends, have a few, and catch a game. |

| Jimmy's Pub | Lansing, MI | |
|
Jimmy's is a good place to catch a game, and there isn't a seat in
the house that doesn't have a view of some tv or tv trivia. The non-smoking
section is very small, but most patrons there usually light up.
There's live music some weekday evenings, of pretty good quality.
The food is average, though if you pick the right entrees, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The french dip comes highly recommended, and the burrito is HUGE. Eat up. The nachos should be ordered by the half unless you are REALLY hungry, and are again a good choice. BEWARE: No free refills on pop - only one, then you have to pay for more. So don't come thirsty, or buy the beer. |
