This is a wonderful place to eat. Great environment with plenty of space. Tables are not "smashed" together. Very clean. The service is fantastic. Employees are very kind, considerate, and honestly care if you're enjoying their food or not. Pricing is very fair. It is classic Mexican food, with a Creol twist to it. All their sauces and dressings are homemade and fresh. VERY tasty! Over all wonderful experience here, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Village Host pizza is the best in my opinion. I've been eating here for about 20 years, and can't get enough. Their crust is like none other. The sauce is very zesty (<-although I hate that word) but not overdone. The way the cheese melts on the pizza is like a little slice of heaven. The pizza here is the perfect thickness. I can't stand pizza that is thin and chewy like bubble gum. Village Host has a wonderful small town environment, and the employees are very friendly. Great delivery service as well.

Great burritos! They're the best right when you're done getting drunk in downtown San Jose!
