| Jason's Deli | Longview, TX | |
|
The food here is excellent. Lots of meat on the subs. Fresh food,
friendly staff. This is a welcomed change to the usual sub chains
that are scant on the meat and food not all that great. The sandwiches
my husband and I ordered did not have the sauce that they said it
came with and his Deli Cowboy was a little dry. My reuben was awesome.
I did not notice the sauce on it either. The bathrooms were a shock
though, not as clean as the rest of the place.

| Waffle Shoppes of Texas | Longview, TX | |
|
The food was suprisingly good. There was a huge selection. The
waitstaff was very friendly and the food came out in record time.
The only drawback was the restroom was not all that clean. The
prices were extremely reasonable also.

| Pine Country Restaurant | Williams, AZ | |
|
Extremely friendly service. We ate breakfast and the food was
delicious. They had homemade fudge, a whole case full! Lots to
choose from. So much that we could not make up our minds. Really
cutsie store inside. We did notice a ton of homemade pastries,
but did not partake. We will definitely come back!

| Cracker Barrel Old Country Store | Kingman, AZ | |
|
This place is always packed out. It was so busy. The food was really
good. The service was excellent. I browsed in the store while
waiting on my table. They also have books on CD or tapes that you
can rent while traveling. The only problem I had was the cashier
was a real sourpuss.

| Nanny's Restaurant | Marksville, LA | |
|
Home cooking and family atmosphere. The average priced entree
is really $5-$20. You can get anything from a cheeseburger to
a steak. The service was impeccable. As far as I can see, even down
to the salad bar, everything was "homemade". We had
the seafood. Food was pretty darn good, but not excellent. I wish
I had room for dessert as the coconut cream pie looked awesome.
If in the area, will definitely come back.

| Herby K's | Shreveport, LA | |
|
This is a must do in Shreveport. This is a little diamond in the
rough. We make special trips just so we can eat here! They have
a full service bar. Real good, cold beer. I always start out with
the marinated crab claws. The onion rings are to die for. Among
my faves are the fried oysters, the gumbo and the shrimp buster.
Do not come here with tight pants on!

| Subway | Texarkana, TX | |
|
Good fresh bread baked all day long. The bread comes in a variety
of flavors. There are tons of toppings to choose from. They have
salads now that are huge and pretty darn good. I especially like
taking subway with me to eat in the park.

| Catfish King Restaurant | Longview, TX | |
|
On the way in, it smelled fantastic. The salad bar was good and
fresh, although it was basic and not alot on it. The hushpuppies,
french fries and coleslaw was very good. My catfish tasted old
and dry. I was disappointed.
The service was nice and friendly and the place was very clean.

| Bufords Steakhouse | Moriarty, NM | |
|
I was traveling through and this was an excellent stop. The food
was lukewarm although extremely tasty. The service was excellent.
The atmosphere was friendly and family like. The Prime Rib was
a must have. They serve homegrown pinto beans with every meal
upon request. I would definitely recommend this place.

| Pancho Mc Gillicuddy's Mexican | Williams, AZ | |
|
This place was charming. The servers were soooo friendly. We
stopped in for a drink and came back for supper. They had entertainment.
The drinks were awesome with a various array of tequila to choose
from. The fajito's were delicious. The atmosphere was cool.
This is a must stop.

| Sues Diner | Nash, TX | |
|
I love to go here for breakfast. Everything is homemade. It is
good homecooking. I think Wednesday is Chicken and Dumpling
day. If you have a hankering for good homecookin' and miss
your mama, Sue's is the place to go.

| Mc Guire's Irish Pub & Brewery | Pensacola, FL | |
|
I feel that this place is highly overrated. The food was overpriced
and mediocre. The place was packed and I cannot understand why.
Our service was good, but I would have rather spent my hard earned
money elsewhere.

| Madison's Diner | Pensacola, FL | |
|
I love the ambience here. It is a very different place. The service
was great. Do not order the fettucine however, it was an extremely
small portion and not very good. The rest of my friend's food
was very good.

| Jubiles | Pensacola, FL | |
|
We were the first one there for the Bushwacker Festival. Jubilee's
definitely has the best Bushwacker's on the beach. Our waitress
was great. The gumbo was fantastic, but the quesadillas were
overpriced and hardly had any shrimp in them. All you could taste
were the jalapeno's. We sat with an excellent view and had
a very good time.

| Zeke's Restaurant | Orange Beach, AL | |
|
We loved this place. Luckily, we got there a little early. Got
a beautiful view right on the marina. I had a "fall off the
Porch" iced tea. Great drinks. Excellent food. Loved to
watch the fishing boats come in and the catch was carted by us in
wheel barrows. Great seafood, great service. A definite must
do in Orange Beach.

| Julie's Deli | Texarkana, TX | |
|
This place has the best desserts in the area! We often cannot get
out of the office and they do catering! Never any complaints,
they are delicious.

||
| Auntie Skinner's Riverboat Clb | Jefferson, TX | |
|
This is a really cool hangout. I wish I could say the same for the
food. It is average. Nachos, cheese sticks, etc. The chicken
fried steak was good, but the gravy was this as water. If you want
to go for the atmosphere and the bands, do it! Drinks are good too.
|
||
| Outback Pub | Branson, MO | |
|
Love the atmosphere. We had a bucket of steamed mussels, crawfish,
crab and shrimp. It was good. The prime rib was excellent also.
The waitress was very attentive. It was a little on the pricey
side. There is a pub and a restaurant. We were in the restaurant.

||
| Cattleman's Steak House | Texarkana, AR | |
|
The service was outstanding. Very professional. The food was
outstanding. This is a place to go for special occasions. It was
romantically lit. The ambience was outstanding. We went with
a large group and had a fabulous time.

| Gator's Croc & Roc | Dallas, TX | |
|
I was suprised how much the west end has gone down. Not much to do,
but Gator's is a must stop. I like to go up on the roof and have a drink.
The view is cool from there.
This is more of a place to "Bar Hop" than a place to eat in my opinion.
