A great change of pace diner. Of course their specialty is soups but
they also have a nice selection of sandwiches and dinner items.

| Coyote Creek Deli | Bend, OR | |
Nice deli on one of the main roads. Not only do they have the great standby's
like turkey and pastrami they have a great selection of more exotic
cuts. If you are in the area stop by for a great lunch.

| Kayo's | Bend, OR | |
Kayo's is a great place to take a date or a loved on for a special occasion.
The seafood is the best in the immediate area and Kayo's is one of
the times that the high prices pale to the food quality and service.

| Pilot Butte Drive In | Bend, OR | |
Quality drive-in on the outskirts of Bend. A wide variety of burgers
and I'm sure they will make any combination you want. Made juicy
and runny like a good burger should be just like you make on the grill
at home. The fries are fresh and not packaged.

| C & D Drive-In & Bakery | Boardman, OR | |
C&D is a great stop along your freeway when you are traveling between
Pendleton and The Dalles. Right next to the Columbia river they have
high quality food. Their double burger is a mouthful and very moist
and tasty.

| Hinkle Railroad Restaurant | Hermiston, OR | |
Hinkle's railroad restaurant was right on our way back from the
doctors so we decided to stop. Hinkle is where the railroaders stay
so they entertain to that crowd. Large portions, surprisingly high
quality and very friendly staff. The salad bar was well stocked and
fresh when we visited.

| Shari's Restaurant | Hermiston, OR | |
Denny's little brother with a different menu which isn't
always a good thing. We were not really happy with this Shari's
I guess they are hit and miss. Stick to the simple items like burgers,
fries, and sandwiches, avoid the salads.

| El Cazador Restaurant | Hermiston, OR | |
We have had to spend quite a bit of time in Hermiston due to having to visit
a local doctor for my husbands back. El Cazador was the first place we
stopped for lunch. We were very happy with the service, cleanliness
was average, and the food was above average. The fajita's we had
were nice and sizzling hot and spiced just right.

| High Tides Seafood Grill | Bend, OR | |
My husband and I had halibut and salmon here and we were very pleased
with our meal. The halibut was flaky and not too tough and the salmon
fell off the bone. We will definatelly recommend.

| New York City Sub Shop | Bend, OR | |
If you like pastrami New York sub is the place to visit a great stop to
pick up a sandwich for lunch. They make the best french dip in town also.
| Sunriver Chowder House | Bend, OR | |
Not the best seafood in Bend but you can do worse. They are probably better
at the soups and sandwiches but I am a very particular clam chowder eater.
| Mongolian BBQ | Bend, OR | |
Bring your appetite when you visit they want you to leave filled up.
You need to visit a Mongolian BBQ at least once for a different dining
experience. The staff is very helpful and will answer all your questions.

| Toomies Thai Cuisine | Bend, OR | |
Authentic Thai dishes. They have a large variety and all that we have
tried have been excellent with just the right amount of curry.
| Roszaks Fish House | Bend, OR | |
We were a little apprehensive going to Roszaks after having just been
at the coast with their fresh seafood but we ended up being pleasantly
surprised. I had the cod and it was light and fluffy. My husband had the
salmon and was very pleased.
| Ernesto's Italian Restaurant | Bend, OR | |
I'm surprised there are not more reviews for Ernesto's. It
is the only Italian place we visit when we are in Bend. The lasagna is
actually almost as good as homecooked. Very authentic menu with a pleasant
staff.

| Smokehouse Restaurant | La Grande, OR | |
A great place if you want something a little different than a McDonalds.
One of the few cheaper, standard fare restaurants in La Grande. Stick
to the basics like chicken fried steaks, burgers, or breakfasts.
| Ten Depot Street | La Grande, OR | |
One of the most expensive restaurants in La Grande. I'll admit
the food is very good but the portions are on the small side and expensive.
You are probably better served visiting during lunch when the prices
are cheaper.

| Top Hand Cafe | Enterprise, OR | |
There claim to fame is their buffalo burgers. They are above average
but the place was kind of dirty when I ate there.
| Little Bear Drive-In | Wallowa, OR | |
Seems to be only open during the summers. I drive by on my way to Enterprise
and i always have to have one of their huckleberry shakes. The burgers
are made from real beef also not squished patties.

| Golden Crown Restaurant | La Grande, OR | |
Very friendly people. My daughter really enjoys eating here so I went
to get her a gift certificate. I had a long wait because they couldn't
find the key to where the certificates were stored, they felt so bad
they gave me one of the small purses they have for sale to give to her for
her birthday. My favorite is the House Noodles. Loads of pork, brocolli,
and mushrooms.
