Enjoyed dinner on 1/23/96. The food was excellent! Sorry
to hear that Peggy (above) had a bad experience. The
peppercorn steak was done to perfection and the chicken
Jerusalem was quite good. The pate appetizer for two was
served with tart pickles, onions and a tasty grained
mustard. And the dessert was good, too! Couple all that
with a good bottle of Shug Pinot Noir, and the experience
was a satisfying one. Our hat's were off to our waiter,
Walter, for his unhurried mannerisms.

| Nini's Coffee Shop | San Mateo, CA | |
|
This is probably one of the best breakfast stops on the
peninsula. The place is always busy and the collection of
people who frequent Nini's makes for some grand people
watching. The staff knows all their customers and even
the bus boys/gals are the friendliest in town. Go alone
and grab a stool at the counter. You'll make a friend in
the person you sit next to!
