| Nobu | New York, NY | |

Great japanese food! They have so many different items to try on their
menu, I hate to try the same thing twice. Of course, I've developed
favorites, such as the Lobster Salad with Shiitake Mushroom and Nobu
Spicy Lemon Dressing and the Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno...yum!
They also have outstanding service and the decor of the restaurant
is very hip and current.

| A.w. Shucks | Charleston, SC | |
|
This is some really good seafood! Market fresh fish, good crab legs,
incredible appetizers, the only drawback is the wait, since all of
the locals go there. Good place to find entertainment, learn local
lore, and pick up women. The bar is well stocked an competent as well.
It reminds you of a local good ol' boys place with a lot of class.

| Charleston Crab House | Charleston, SC | |
|
This is really more a tourist restaurant but if you are in from out of
town then you probably would enjoy this place. The food is usually well
prepared although the service isn't always at the top of its game.
Conveniently located on Market Street if you've been shopping
all morning it is a nice lunch spot although there are plenty of better
restaurants for a good dinner nearby.

| Magnolia's | Charleston, SC | |
|
You only find the true food connoiseurs here. There are tourist but
not what you think of when you think of tourist. Only the well to do eat
here regularly because it's expensive but as the old adage goes,
you get what you pay for. I have had a poor meal here but that was a rare
occassion. I have also branched out and tried something different
I didn't like but that was because my taste buds disagreed with
the food not the preparation. I think this is a high quality fine dining
restaurant and will reccommend it to all that can afford it. Please
those with small children are the loud and boisterous, go elsewhere.

| Breck's Place | Charleston, SC | |
|
HUGE and I mean HUGE portions. It's all about the steak at Brecks.
The sides are just that, sides here. The lunch specials keep the place
packed during the lunch hours. While I was living in SC, I ate there at
least twice a week for lunch. Prices are extremely low for the amount
of food you get. The veggies are a little sub par, but its the steak and
potatoes that you go here for. They cut their own steaks in the basement
of the restaurant. The staff is always very friendly and casual. No
need to dress up to go here. If you like BIG steaks, check out Brecks!

| Hank's Seafood | Charleston, SC | |
|
Hanks is a very busy restaurant and there is a reason for that. The food
is above average. The wait staff is proffessional and knowlegeable
and I like a noisy atmosphere. YOu can still sneak in a private conversation
and people watch while enjoying the comfortable seats. A bit pricey
but what fine dinning restaurant isn't. You get what you pay for.
Thumbs up.

| Grill At Charleston Place | Charleston, SC | |
|
One of only five, four-star restaurants in town Charleston Grille
distinguishes itself with its wine list that is bigger than most yearbooks,
approved by Wine Spectator itself. If you like a wine, you will find
it at Charleston Grille. It has a wonderful outdoor seating as well
as live jazz music to compliment the atmosphere. This is definately
where you want to go for anniversaries, birthdays, or other occassions
where it matters. If you need to know how much food or drink is, you shouldn't
come here. Still maintains a casual "no jacket needed"
atmosphere.

| Ed's Mongolin Barbeque | Cleveland, OH | |
|
I thought this restaurant was really good. By me being a restaurant
manager myself. I was there for a friend of mine. He had past away and
the dinner after the funerla was held there. He used to work in the kitchen.
After tasting the food I had to go back with a couple of my friends. I believe
this restaurant is a one of a kind. Even though I enjoyed this establishment
I do not beileve it will be around that long in Cleveland.

| Shinano Japanese Restaurant | Cleveland, OH | |
|
Shinano is an excellent Japanese restaurant frequented by many Japanese
families and business men. We are just plain ordinary neighborhood
folks and are always treated royally.Shinano is in Richmond Heights,
Ohio--an eastern suburb of Cleveland.

| Hunan Coventry | Cleveland, OH | |
|
We eat here several times a year and my husband also brings the food home
carryout on occasion. I don't think we've ever gotten a bad
meal from them. Lunches range generally under $10, with quite a few
lunch specials each day, and the dinners are generally under $15.00.
We especially like their chicken with candied walnuts, the orange
beef, and their house fried rice. My favorite Chinese restaurant in
all of Cleveland.

||
| Frank & Paulys | Cleveland, OH | |
|
Frank and Pauly's is overpriced, just O.K. food. Not for the real
Italian lover as most restaurants here are Americanized Italian.
This one just happens to put an enormous amount of food in front of you,
as it is family style, however you pay for every little bit and then some.
Parking is non existant so valet parking is a must. Overall, I'm
not very satisfied with them.

||
| Grum's Sub Shoppe | Cleveland, OH | |
|
This place has the best subs around, and I mean real subs, not like at
some chain. They use great fresh bread, quality fillings, and really
pile it on. Parking is pretty inconvenient being in the Coventry area,
and it is carry out only, so your best bet is to have someone drive around
the block while you run in.

| Bo Loong Restaurant | Cleveland, OH | |
|
Whether it's overrun with downtown workers at midday or bar-hoppers
at midnight, Bo Loong is a favorite stop for Clevelanders seeking Chinese
food. Enjoy the ambience of a pagoda-style eatery, complete with giant
fish tanks, Buddha-style statues and an elegant dining room. Among
the best places on the North Coast for cheap, late-night eats, Bo Loong
covers all of the basics, with an extensive menu that includes a dim-sum
selection offered daily around lunchtime. This makes Bo Loong one
of the few dim-sum diners left in the area. On the menu, you'll also
find family-style two-, three-, four- and five-person dinners, which
are bargain-basement cheap: They come out to less than $10 per person.
The entire menu is available for takeout, which makes it a perfect after-hours
stopover

| Mallorca | Cleveland, OH | |
|
Excellent Mediteranian cusine...the only such restaurant I know
of in the area. Unique atmosphere and extensive menu of uncommom choices
make this a "MUST-VISIT" restaurant. Service is friendly
and attentive and there is a feeling of class when you walk in. Five enthusiastic
stars.

| Slyman Restaurant | Cleveland, OH | |
|
This deli is much loved, known especially for its mile-high kosher
corned beef sandwiches. The setting of Slyman's is nondescript
to say the least; thick block glass and a vivid blue awning outside.
Inside is a bland but bustling diner atmosphere, complete with open
kitchen and friendly lunch counter. The standard Reuben is available
and wonderfully tasty, as are the variations on the Reuben theme --
the pastrami, turkey, and roast beef Reubens. Or try a sandwich made
with the super ultra-fresh tuna salad -- the tuna melts are superb.
Breakfasts at Slyman's offer an abundance of morning time treats.
Omelets mostly feature ingredients for carnivores -- the basic salami,
ham, bacon, and sausage.

| Greek Isles Restaurant | Cleveland, OH | |
|
Where the Greeks go to eat Greek! I'm married to a Greek and we took
my father-in-law here. The service was absolutely fantastic and the
food was to die for. The decor is classic and not too over the top. We found
parking right in front of the restaurant on a Thursday night. You've
got to try the lamb and the loukoumathes (not sure if they have them all
the time). Enjoy and Opah!

||
| Lure | Cleveland, OH | |
|
Lure is without a doubt the best kept secret in northern Ohio. This gem
of a restaurant is just what you're looking for if you want a night
out to enjoy truly "Fine Dining". The decor is simple, but
classy. The service is the best I've ever experienced, and the
cuisine is..... well, lets just say..."This is as good as it gets".
I could go on and on about this establishment, but let me just suggest
that you give it a try yourself, and you'll be the judge. "ENJOY"!!!!!

| New York Spaghetti House | Cleveland, OH | |
|
Good spot to goto on a Firday night. Great family atmosphere, even though
the young locals filled the place. Had the Linguine with pesto and chicken,
highly recommended! Save room for the killer dessert menu as well,
had the chocolate cake.

| Dixie Cafe | Memphis, TN | |
|
This is a excellent place to dine at at a reasonable price. One of my favorites
is the Grilled Cajun Catfish served with jalapeno cornbread. Wow!
Nicely seasoned! Okay I have said enough. I know what my lunch plans
are for today!

REVIEW #8 Spider J. Avg. Entree: $10-15 Rating: May 24, 2004 0 of 0 people found this review helpful I had the most fun I have ever had at a restaurant in my life. This place
really rocks. Great food, great beer and drinks that are not watered
down. The service will make you happy to tip generously. The entertainment
is very good. Sit in the balcony if you can, you will enjoy the shows much
better. There is a cover when a band is present.
