| Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q | Jacksonville, FL | |
|
Growing up in Jax, Sonny's was never my favorite Bar BQ place, I
typically preferred Woody's, however I must say after moving
up to St.Marys and their being the only Bar BQ place close, I became very
fimilar with their all you can eat ribs during my last pregnancy as well
as their sweet sauce, so now living out of state and also in an area that
doesn't seem to know what Good Bar BQ is I hit Sonny's everytime
I am back home for a visit as well as bringing home a gallon of their sweet
sauce each time too. Their Sweet Ice tea is also very good, again living
in an area who's idea of sweet tea is rasberry flavored tea, it too
is very good. Would gladly recommend this resturant to someone.

| Jax Beach Seafood Restaurant | Jacksonville, FL | |
|
I have to say that this is one of the best seafood resturants I have ever
had the pleasure of eating at, both of the locations on this side of town
are GREAT!! In 1999 I moved from Jax to Toledo, Ohio and was very saddened
to find out that this area's idea of seafood is Red Lobster! Now
don't get me wrong when I am in the mood for seafood these days I do
go to Red Lobster only because I have no other choices, but I would have
to say if Jax's Beach Seafood opened up a resturant here in Toledo
they would do more business then they would know what to do with!! When
I go back home to visit, I eat here every chance I get, by the time I am heading
back north, I have had my fill of seafood to last me until I come back the
next year! If you have never eaten at this or their Beach Blvd location
and I believe they also have a Merril Road location as well but I could
be wrong, anyways if you have never tried them you just don't know
what you are missing, if you like seafood this resturant is one you must
try!!! Great is really the only word I can think if right now to describe
them, their prices are very fair and their portions are huge!!! Have
a 30 peice fried shrimp for me would ya? LOL

| Shucker's Restaurant | Swanton, OH | |
|
What can I say about Shuckers? They do have decent food and very friendly
wait staff, however I do have to say they are a bit over priced for their
area. Being in a small town where they are the only one of their kind you
would think their prices would be more reflective of that but they are
pricey and I can't even say that their portions make up for the prices,
but all in all they do have ok food.

| Loma Linda Restaurant | Swanton, OH | |
|
Loma Linda's was on of the first restaurants we ate at when we first
moved to Ohio from Florida back in 1999, I have to say I really enjoyed
the food and didn't think they were over priced at all. I can say
they have a bean dip that is to die for, however I can't say they are
the very best I have ever eaten but they are very good. I would recommend
them over the other mexican restaurants in the area.
