Some of the best boiled seafood in the area. Always a crowd so come
early, but stay a while. They also serve fried seafood dishes
which are top notch.
Enjoy

| Lynn G's Seafood & Steakhouse | Abbeville, LA | |
|
A very good lunch buffet. The food was fresh and spiced well. When
I'm back in Abbeville, I usually stop by and enjoy some fresh
fried catfish and a bowl of gumbo.

| Golden Corral Family Steak Hse | Abbeville, LA | |
|
A consistent, well priced buffet. This location has been able
to continue serving fresh tasty food day in and day out with few
failures. I like having a place to go to stretch my wallet and not
feel like I gave up variety or a good meal.

| Acme Oyster House | New Orleans, LA | |
|
A tasty place for a seafood dinner. The poboys are great here also.
Seating is a little tight, but the food is very well piced and nicely
spiced. The seafood is always fresh here. Highly recommend this
to tourists and locals alike.

| Randols Restaurant & Cajun Dancehall | Lafayette, LA | |
|
A decent place to stop in for well prepared boiled crawfish. The
dancing is top notch. If you only have time for a few stops while
in Lafayette, this would be a good choice.

Hands down the best baby backs anywhere. Great steaks , good barbecue

| Cici's Pizza | Slidell, LA | |

Well I won't lie and talk about how great hte food is, because
it ok, but not great... but 2.99. This place keeps college students
and young expanding families well fed and entertained. Service
is quick and they are never out of your favorite pies.

In a town well populated with top notch steak houses Ruth's
still stands at the top of the list. No one beats the pavlovian
experience that sizzle provides. the best steaks on the planet
are here. This is what cow dreams to be when it grows up.

| Louisiana Pizza Kitchen | Baton Rouge, LA | |
|
This is great pizza. Was a bit skeptical of the whole gourmet pizza
thing, but these guys changed my mind. Get creative, order something
different and enjoy.

| Zea | New Orleans, LA | |
|
A truly unique louisiana restuarant. Zea's takes the food
we love, fresh fish, hearty pastas, fresh and refreshing salads,
and spices and grills them to a new level of perfection. This is
by far on of my favorite restuarants around.

| Demos' Steak & Spaghetti House | Nashville, TN | |
|
I had the pleasure of finding this place on a recent trip to Nashville.
This was about the only place I could find to sit down for a meal
after 10pm downtown. I am so glad though, because I probably would't
have stopped. The menu is simple and very well priced. I had great
service, and the food was great. I really miss this place already.

| La Madeleine French Quarter French Bakery and ... | New Orleans, LA | |
|
A nice comfortable place to stop for a bite and iced tea. The location
is well kept, and the cafeteria style service moves you through
quickly. However with all the other great stops around it, I rarely
find time to stop by.
|
||
| Central Grocery | New Orleans, LA | |
|
Two places I never miss in NOLA, Cafe du monde and Central grocery.
This is a tradition. Walk up to the counter and order a Whole and
a Barq's. You can't go wrong.

| Italian Villa | Lake Charles, LA | |
|
Yes Five stars. What a surprise it was to find this place. Never
have I been to another place with such incredible service, food
and atmosphere. If you love food and romance, this is the place.
the most expertly trained staff, flavorful menu, and memorable
experience. Just walk in with someone you want to have a great
memory with, a hearty appetite, and a healthy pocketbook. We
usually average seven courses here. One last thing bring a little
extra cash with you, you will want to tip big at the end.

| Acadiana's Catfish Shak | Lafayette, LA | |
|
Was good while it lasted. Closed down about 2 years ago. That location
is now Woods and Waters.
|
||
| kirby's super market | Golden Meadow, LA | |
|
Ok here's the plan. On the way to Grand isle, call ahead and
order whole roast beefs for everyone in the car. Plan about 30
minutes lead time. When you get here grab a coke and hit the road.
Spend the rest of the drive savoring the smell. Grab the food,
hit the beach, and enjoy a delicious, sloppy roast beef poboy
on the beach. When you're done go wash off in the gulf.

| Tampico Restaurant | Morgan City, LA | |
|
Pretty good tex-mex food. The service is fine but nothing here
is mind blowing. I've had some problems with the food being
inconsistant.
|
||
| Dos Amigos Mexican Restaurant | New Iberia, LA | |
|
This is very good Tex-mex. Service was prompt, food was fresh
and prices were fair. When near NewIberia and hungry for mexican,
this is where I head.

| Ed Debevic's Short Orders Deluxe | Chicago, IL | |
|
I really miss this place. I haven't been in Chicago for a few
years, but every time I consider getting back up there, i think
about stopping by Ed Debevic's. Theme restaurants are selling
an experience to the customer and this place delivers one hell
of an experience. It certainly is a tourest trap, but one not to
miss. The menu was great. In fact I stole one to take home as a souvenir.
The food was good. My suggestion. The route 66 burger, chilly
cheese fries and a six dollar shake. Can't be matched.
