This is a great "up-north" restaraunt. Perfect for breakfast, my favorites are the breakfast burrito and the cinnamon french toast. The owners are hands on and wonderful people.

A great place for a group of skiers or golfers, or a family gathering. Expect a wait, and lots of noise. The steaks and buffalo burgers are great, and the Big Buck Beer sampler is fun!

Don't let the storefront setting keep you from entering. The key word here is "bargain." The buffet has everything that you could possibly want in Chinese fare, and the quality if very good. Biggest complaint is that there is no alcohol, but that could be a plus for some.

This is hands down the best lunch you'll ever have. The muffins and breads are fresh, unique, and incredible. The salads and sandwiches are one of a kind. It's just a great place!

If you like fajitas, you'll love La Senorita. Lots of varieties, huge portions, and great taste. The chips are fresh and served warm, and the salse is above average(a key for any Mexican restaraunt!). Good family place.

How is this place still open? I've been going to Gaylord for twenty years and been there three times. Each time, the place was empty and the food was tasteless. I guess it's because it's the only Italian place in town!

Used to be called "Jack's Place"-a nice place for dinner overlooking the golf area. Great burgers, steaks, and fish. Prices are a little high for Gaylord. Not a place to take the kids.

This is a favorite of the older crowd. The menu is very "classic." No noveau cuisine here. And it's mediocre at best. They do have a very good salad bar, and you can sit in either a family style diner area, or a more elegant dining room. But wherever you sit, the food is still fair at best.

This is historically one of tne great Italian restaraunt families in Detroit. The medallions of beef are outstanding, and the minestrone soup is excellent.

One of the truly great chinese restaraunts in Detroit. Ask the server for special dish descriptions-its better than ordering off the menu. The decor is fantastic, and the sushu is also great.

If you like Buddy's, you'll like Shields. Great square pizza and burgers, and a nice waitstaff. Also others located in the metro area.

Everybody always told me this was the best pizza in the city. If it's not, it's pretty close! Huge place, but still has family feel. Burgers are also very good.

If you are more concerned with health than taste, this place is for you. Only vegetarians and health nuts should venture, but if you come in knowing this, you'll be happy. Very nice people, and interesting menu.

Great place for bar food, bad place for gourmet. Sick with the simple stuff and you'll be happy. Gay and artsy crowd, with lots of friendly people.

One of the two or three best burgers in town. And a fun place(bar), too. Your food comes in a basket to your table, or on a piece of paper at the bar. Outstanding!!

Basic Chinese, but a great place to go for lunch. The combination plates are HUGE!

Bagel Deli is under new ownership, as of 2002. Now called "Hello Deli" they still have a great selection of sandwiches. Also do a good job with catering. A few chairs for dining in.
