The service was adequate. I was in a group of three and it took aproximately twenty minutes before we were even waited on. I highly recommend the Scotch Eggs as well or the Eggplant Dip also. Very nice selection of beers, lagers, etc. Recommend the John Courage! Atmosphere was nice. It was very busy but controlled.

Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys a relaxed atmosphere, fine food, excellent service, and maybe some of the best carrot cake in town. If you don't like carrot cake, the apple pie is excellent as well.
