| Elio Pizzeria | Montreal, QC | |
|
Elio Pizzeria has been operational for quite some time, and have
a history of making great pizzas, But they also have a terrific
variety of Italian pasta dishes that will satisfy your hunger.
I am Italian and my mom's cooking comes pretty close to these
pasta dishes.. Which is a very good compliment. Try the cannelloni
- unbelievable !!! They also have great service and friendly
waiter/waitress... thumbs up !!!

| Deer Garden Restaurant | Montreal, QC | |
|
Great Chinese food just outside the edge of Chinatown. MY favorite
is the Large coup with bbq pork and greens and these long, thin
egg noodles. I can almost taste it now. Chicken with ginger and
scallions is also a tremendously rewarding option.
<br>
Unfortunately, they took down the assortment of wildlife taxidermy
that used to adorn the walls. . .I guess the next generation took
over the decor. . will the food change as well?

| Restaurant Chez Charlie | Sherbrooke, QC | |
|
Clean, fairly, fast and pretty tasty. Another 50's style
place
with a pretty good menu. Their steak is really not much but if you
want chicken or good poutine stop in here. They have a balcony
and a nice atmosphere inside. Price-wise its easy on the wallett.
Good deals here!

| Au Relais De La Place D'Armes | Quebec, QC | |
|
A busy place, especially in tourist season. Friendly staff and
a nice meal
with an excellent house wine in white red or rose.
No reservations but wait is short, if any.
There is a daily menu (four courses)or a la carte. Food is a mix
of French Canadian specialties and
continental. I enjoyed the meal of patie with truffles followed
by chicken in bordelaise.

| Cafe Bla-Bla | Sherbrooke, QC | |
|
Blah-Blah is very much a yuppy place. Although the service is
good and the decor is trendy, yet claming, there is a certian feeling
that you get. Makes you want to make sure you are clean enough to
enter. They have great specialty coffess and carious other drinks
and the decor is beautiful with dark woods, frosted glass and
it has a slight brittish pub flavor to it. The smoking section
is well placed so non smokers can enjoy a cough free meal. Besides
it being a little pricy it really is a great place to go.

| Pizzeria Stratos | Sherbrooke, QC | |
|
Really good pizza here. Nice crust too not over done like most
places. They have some great tasting food and they are pretty
fast. They offer quite a selection for a pizzeria, such as eggrols,
burgers, ect..Stay away from the onion rings though, they are
less than desriable.

|
As it is the only asian restaurant I know of in Frederick, I have
to say tahat to make up for it they span a great range of asian dishes,
besides just Chinese, there is Japanese and Thai and a little
Vietnamese style dishes as well. Spend up instead of down here
and get some surprises...

Excellent hibachi grill Japanese steakhouse! Entertaining
servers and good food. You are not rushed to make way for the next
party as in some Hibachi-style restaurants

At this bakery/cafe you can get numerous different types of sandwiches
or soup. Or you can get fresh bagels or breads along with coffee,
hot chocolate, espresso or other specialty drinks.

| Miyako Japanese Steak and Seafood House | Frederick, MD | |
|
Very good food. This is a Japanese restraunt where they cook the
food right at your table. You have your choice of chicken, steak,
shrimp or a combination. There are also other entrees like beef
terryaki that you can order. The chefs are very entertaining
as they cook your food. Enjoyable atmosphere

| Morimoto | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
Get the one of the special dinners. It may be a once in a lifetime
experience because of the cost. But I plan to come back again after
my wallet rests for a bit! lol The most I've pay in a long time.
but i think it was well worth it!

| Susanna Foo Chinese Cuisine | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
Basically, great food and good service. After being seated it
took a few minutes to be serviced but once the meal was ordered
we were very satisfied. My party ordered several different dishes
to we got a wide range of tastes; most of the seasoning was very
good though some dishes were a little spicey for my tastes. Overall,
it was a very enjoyable evening.

| Moshulu | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
This place is romantic but on the pricey side so don't make
it a
first date! Had this appetizer that was layered eggplant, roasted
peppers and fresh mozzarella slices - delicious. Make reservations
well in advance to get the night and time that you want.

||
| White Dog Cafe | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
White Dog is a little pricey but the food is good. The menu has lots
of variety. It is located on UPenn's campus so there will
likely be lots of coeds and their parents. The restaurant is very
nice and the service is good. If you are in the area, you should
try it.

||
| Tony Luke's | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
Tony Luke's has great sandwiches, the Pork is awesome. Great
Philly steak's and fries. The breakfast sandwiches are
great, large is four egg, for the hungry set, but their small two
egg sandwiches are hands better that anything you can find at
those big franchise fast food restaurants.
|
||
| Jim's Steaks | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
This is one of the best places to get a cheesesteak in Philly. I
think both Pat's and Geno's are overrated. Ishkabibble's,
which is up the street, is also excellent. The only thing about
Jim's is that they don't offer chicken cheesesteaks.
Still, the steaks are among the best. The line is usually long,
especially in the daytime when the weather is nice, but it moves
fast.
