Kohana Mongolian Grill Bellevue, WA
Great selection. you make your own plate by mixing ingridients with spices and sauces and a cook will sautee it for you on a flat hot surface stove. You can try different combinations in small portions if you wish, until you get it right to your liking. Great for meat eathers, as well as vegetarians, vegans, and those who like seafood. In the end, you are responsible for the taste of your own food. NOTE: if you have allergies, it's good to know that different meals are prepared on the surface simultaneously and foods that you are allergic to might end up in your meal. It's best to let the manager or your server know, because most cooks there do not understand English.
I Love Sushi Bellevue, WA
Food is excellent. Service is very friendly. Some of the freshest fish I've ever had at a sushi restaurant. I keep coming back regularly and everyone I bring is usually delighted with the experience. Occasionally, I will find that the dishes are not very clean and that's the downfall. Another downfall is that they are not open all day long on the weekends, but that's rather personal :) I would eat there twice a day, if they were open on my weekend schedule.
Port Angeles Crabhouse Port Angeles, WA
Had dinner there on the way to Kingston ferry. Were planning to get our food and get out in about 40 minunes to an hour. The waitress brought us hot tea, and did not come back for at least 20 minutes to take our order. When she returned, she apologized saying that she had to serve hot food, while I watched her checking on other customers, clearing a table(!!!), and doing stuff on a computer, while she only had two other tables she was serving. They have two dishes Crabhouse Platter and Crab Feast. We ordered a "Crab plate" meaning a plate of crab, instead we got a place of deep fried apetizers, which we did not wish to eat. The waitress replaced the dish. The soup she originally said was on the menu, was not available. She featured rice as one of possible sides, and came back later saying that they were out of rice. Dirty dishes were never cleared off our table, such as soup cup and bread plate. Our table was filled with dirty dishes, and there was no room. While we were eating, one of the hostesses was clearing the table next to us began telling us how disgusted she is with lobster, because it crawles on the bottom of the sea. That's while we are eating lobster! Food was fine, but not out of the ordinary. There were no local catches available on the menu. We missed a ferry and had to drive around the coast to Seattle. Overall, we had terrible experience at that place and will never come back.
