| Panino's Restaurant | Colorado Springs, CO | |
|
A great little restaurant. Not too much room but the prices and
food are worth the cramped atmosphere. I love their Paninis (bad
spelling?) They are enough for a lunch and a snack for later.

| Outback Steakhouse | Denver, CO | |
|
Great food! The steaks are great, so is the chicken. This is my
favorite place to go when I crave red meat.

| Chipotle Mexican Grill | Denver, CO | |
|
For those not used to this type of restaurant the counter can be
a confusing place. The first time I went in I didn't know how
the whole thing worked and the employees were anything but helpful.
The end result was a great burrito, so I continue to stop back by
every once in a while on the merit of the food alone: definitely
NOT the service.

| Old Chicago | Denver, CO | |
|
Old Chicago is a great place to go when you want to have a little
pizza and some good beer with some friends. The atmosphere here
is great, and so is the service when they aren't too busy.

| Angelo's Pizza Parlor | Denver, CO | |
|
Very good food. It isn't expensive but in this case you get
more than you paid for. I used to have a friend that worked there
and I would go there quite often. Not to see them, but to get some
great food!

| Papa Murphy's | Denver, CO | |
|
The pizza is definitely priced right, and they don't scrimp
on the toppings. I haven't had better pizza at a dine-in pizza
place. Plus, the atmosphere where you eat is the best: right at
home.

| Blue Bonnet Cafe & Lounge | Denver, CO | |
|
After taking advice from a friend I went to the Blue Bonnet expecting
some outrageously good food. I was sadly dissapointed. Unlike
at most Mexican restaurants, I had to pay for the chips and salsa.
Not a bad thing, if I sat down and ordered them from the menu I would
expect to. But they brought them to the table without me asking
and I assumed they were "on the house." Forgive me
for overlooking the signs they had posted saying that they were
($2.50?) My memory fades on that. I thought it was unconventional
for them to bring me food that costs without me asking for it. The
food I actually ordered was ho-hum. And the service stunk! I tried
it again to make sure I wasn't there at an "off"
time, but it wasn't any better. My word of advice: Don't
believe all the hype, you will only be dissappointed.

| Chick Fil A | Denver, CO | |
|
I like chicken, but I LOVE the chargrilled chicken sandwich from
Chick-fil-a. I don't know how they do it but that chicken
is the best chicken sandwich I have ever had.

| The Armadillo | Denver, CO | |
|
I really like the Armadillo. Order the extra spicy green chili
for a little punch. The portions are enought to fill you two times
over.
|
||
| International House Of Pancakes | Denver, CO | |
|
Great place to go for breakfast. DOn't expect the super-fancy
but you will get for fill for a decent price. I must've been
there while they were open. :)

| Le Peep's Grill | Denver, CO | |
|
Wow! Who new you could have such a broad variety of tastes in just
one breakfast entree? They have some great food combinations
that you wouldn't expect. The service was great. Not pushy
but there when you needed them.

||
| Casa Bonita | Denver, CO | |
|
The atmoshpere is really cool. The entertainment is great. The
food? Yuck. Eating here is like going to a theme park. You know
you'll have lots of fun but the food leaves something to be
desired.

| Red Lobster Restaurants Northglenn | Denver, CO | |
|
Well, good seafood in Colorado is hard to find. They try here,
but they have limitations. My one recommendation: don't
get the rock lobster. Everytime I have had it it has been mealy.
On the other hand, if you've got a hankerin' for some
seafood there aren't too many other places you get get it.
Their other food is okay. Love the cheese biscuits.

| Cornucopia Bakery | Salida, CO | |
|
The food is fresh, the atmosphere is great. You can't beat
the baked goods! Love thier sandwiches. If you are in the area,
don't miss this place.

||
| Country Bounty Restaurant | Salida, CO | |
|
This place has average food and waitstaff that is easily rattled.
Which means if they have two tables you get left in the cold. I waited
a long time for food that came out cold. It isn't worth the
wait.

||
| First Street Cafe | Salida, CO | |
|
This is a quaint little restaurant. They had a fire and closed
but re-opened. My absolute faves: Deluxe nachos and their Cinnamon
iced-tea. (don't get chicken on the nachos unless you like
it boiled..that's how it tastes)

| Gourmet Chef Chinese Rstrnt | Salida, CO | |
|
This is an excellent Chinese restaurant. I would travle miles
and miles to eat here! Don't miss it if you are in the area and
want chinese. My personal recommendation: Shrimp chow mein.
It's to die for.

| Il Vicino Pizzeria & Brewery | Salida, CO | |
|
I love the stone-baked pizzas. You can find this place in Colorado
Springs, too. The salads and bread are great, I love the parmesean
and dressing they put on the salads. Eggplant and capers are just
some of the more "exotic" toppings you can choose
from. The microbrews are pretty good, too.

| Patio Pancake Place | Salida, CO | |
|
IHOP has nothing on these guys. My favorite are thier pancakes
with strawberries and whipped cream. Yummy.
