Carmines New York, NY
We went to Carmine's for dinner after a show. The food is incredible, the prices are great. Everything is served "family style" in huge portions. Reservations are needed well in advance on weekends. We'll go back again!
Le Colonial Restaurant New York, NY
Superb food and great ambience. We had a great time when we went and I would reccommend it to anyone looking for a place to take a date.
River New York, NY
I would agree it is possibly the best restaurant of its kind in the city. I have visited on a number of occasions and haven't been disappointed yet. Worth a try!
Blue Ribbon Sushi New York, NY
Blue Ribbon is a sushi-lover's sushi restaurant. It is the only place I've ever been able to find smoked yellowtail, and it is fantastic. I've been there numerous times and usually get the "toshi's choice" in which they will bring you a wide array of great sushi and sashimi. Be sure to ask for the smoked yellowtail - that alone is worth the trip. The atmosphere is nice, as is the staff. This place is popular, so be sure to arrive early. If you can't get there early, the host will take you cell phone number and call you when your table is ready. You don't see that very often. So grab a drink down the street while you wait. Pay a visit if you have the chance.
Sushi Bar New York, NY
Great fresh sushi. In my view the kind of place to go if you haven't tried it before. The surroundings are pleasant and the staff friendly.
Old Salt Eating and Drinking Place Hampton, NH
Very good British style pub Almost like the real thing very friendly service and exelent beer the guiness i always find the best. As usual after a few i am as jolly as the next fella. Great atmosphere.
Suma Vegie Cafe Richardson, TX
Really friendly restaurant with helpful staff. Their goal is to assist in getting non-vegetarians to try (and love) vegan food. I'm hooked! All types of Chinese dishes simulated with tofu based products: Sweet & Sour Chicken, Beef Loi Mein, Pork fried rice, fish entrees, etc. True Vegetarians: Bring your non-vegetarian friends and family for a treat they will truly enjoy, and you may even convert 1 or 2! Very nice place.
Greens Restaurant Denver, CO
The menu isn't totally vegetarian, veg-heads will be pleased. The menu has a variety of selection and the specials usually have vegetarian item. Oh... and the food is terrific.Great restaurant.
Sibu Cafe Kailua Kona, HI
Not very flashy, and tucked back into a strip mall, this quaint little joint almost got by us...thankfully, we stopped after a day of shopping and this place completely blew me away with it's good food and better service. A+++!
Tucker's Restaurant Anderson, SC
Great value. Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I have been meaning to go back here for a while. Pay a visit if you are in the area.
Golden Lotus Vegetarian Restaurant Oakland, CA
Golden Lotus is a excellent vegetarian (vegan except some of the drinks/desserts I think) restaurant - mostly Vietnamese with some Chinese - menu appears identical to Golden Era in San Francisco. Favorites include Tay-Ho Rolls, Tamarind Beef, Caramelized Chicken, Garlic Green Bean Tofu - save room for dessert if you can. Try the flan (vegan version) and Vegan Mocha Cake (it rocks!). Parking on street or try nearby lots (restaurant at corner with 13th St). Great for vegetarians but also non vegetarians.
Hawaii Sea Restaurant Corp Bronx, NY
Great food! No Chinese place beats Hawaii Sea's food. They re-modeled a few years back and began offering Japanese food. Preferred the cozier, subdued lighting atmosphere they had before the re-modeling but it still has a nice feel hard to find anywhere else. Great restaurant.
Mario's Ristorante Melbourne Beach, FL
Mario's is great. Members of our party tried different entrees and all were excellent. We were really surprised at the decor-since it's in a strip mall we were not expecting it to be so Beautiful. It has the ambiance and the great food. I love this restaurant. I've also had there pizza and it is the Best in all of Melbourne. We'll keep coming back, we love it.
Kanak Attack Honolulu, HI
A true "local" restaurant. Plenty good grinds. You will learn the meaning of Hawaiian paralysis... eat too much and you sleep! Worth a visit if you are in the area. Great value.
Trader Vic's Emeryville, CA
My wife & I still think that this is a great restaurant for dinner for a special event. Needless to say the location is much better than before. I am sorry they dropped their dress code as this is a place to dress up for. (It has been noted that the middle, and older, age customers dress up, but the younger ones haven't learned yet. Great food & service, but drinks quite expensive.
Tanioka's Seafoods & Catering Waipahu, HI
Its reputation is ceserved. The food is very freah and great quality cooked to perfection. If you have the chance I would reccommend a visit here!
Big Kahuna's Pizza-N-Stuffs Sacramento, CA
Great value, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. What more can you ask for!? Give it a try if you are in the area.
Maggie's Buns Forest Grove, OR
Great ambience, awesome homemade food, killer soups, crazy but fun staff. Feels like you are on Hawthorne in Portland instead of the small town of Forest Grove. It is a truly wonderful dining experience. Give it a try if you get the chance!
Swig Milwaukee, WI
Swig is Milwaukee's first Small Plate Dining restaurant, it's a concept that's popular on east coast and in major metro areas. The idea is to be able to enjoy lots of dishes without the committment of large entrees. The wine list is quite dynamic and a huge selection of martinis by Grey Goose is available. Open 7days at 4pm.
Cesar Berkeley, CA
Dishes are small and so you get to sample many at one time. Papas fritas is a must. Light meal, but high quality. Would recommend a visit if you are in the area.
