| Good Fellas Ristorante & Bar | Garfield, NJ | |

Pleasant atmosphere. Nice relaxed pace. You can enjoy each course
of the meal without feeling rushed into the next. Try the fresh
fruit with canole filling dip for desert!

| Desert Inn | Canton, OH | |
I go here every year when visiting family. It's mediterranian
style. I don't know the menu real well. But when we go, we get
the shish-ka-bobs. Beef, chicken, shrimp, lamb. We get family
style service. There is a large plate of potatoes, rice and salad
for everyone to share. We always leave stuffed and still bring
some home.

| Stinger's | Wallington, NJ | |
Nice place to eat. Comfortable atmosphere. Can get very busy,
may have to wait, but your not sitting on your neighbor.

| Emilia Romagna Pizza | Wood Ridge, NJ | |
A great pizza/entree take-out restaurant. I don't think
it's very popular, but you can sit and enjoy wait service
as well.

| Mario's Restaurant & Pizzeria | Clifton, NJ | |
Great pizza - thin crust. Don't bother with chain delivery,
take the time to get out once in while. It's a friendly atmosphere,
for a regular dine out nite.

| Fireside Diner Restaurant Corp | Clifton, NJ | |
I'm not sure of the dining experience in the restaurant,
but I have been to two "functions" and a brunch in the
banquet area. They do a great job and the food is terrific.
| Rutt's Hut | Clifton, NJ | |
If you want a quick fried hot dog, there's nowhere else to
turn. It's a landmark, so you know what your getting every
time.
| Chevy's Fresh Mex | Clifton, NJ | |
You know what to expect from Chevy's. Good food / good times.
But I was surprised at how good takeout was. It felt like a better
bargain than eating in the restaurant. This is by the theatre,
so it gets very crowded.

| La Riviera Trattoria | Clifton, NJ | |
I'm referring to the smaller of the two La Riviera restaurants
next door (Gastronomia?) They have a dinner for 2 take out that
comes in a buffet tin. More like dinner for four. And it tastes
great.

| San Remo Pizza & Restaurant | Clifton, NJ | |
We get pizza all the time. Some of the best I've had... anywhere.
Calzones are good too.
| Grasshopper Also Bar & Rstrnt | Carlstadt, NJ | |
An irish pub with one of the better nightlife scenes. Get in early
for food on weekends. Great burgers. Bar starts jamming just
after dinner.
| Steve's Sizzling Steaks | Carlstadt, NJ | |
All I would hear about is how good Steve's is. I finally got
there late 2004. The food was fantastic, but the atmosphere is
ho-hum. It's kind of like a slug bar with great food. It's
reputation has been built on that, so everyone is happy. ps. you
might smell like maggie sauce when you leave.

| Wood-Ridge Inn | Wood Ridge, NJ | |
This place used to be fantastic. Owners changed, but It's
still good. Nightly specials and reliable menu items like burgers
and steak sandwiches keep you coming back.
| Landmark II Banquet Rooms | East Rutherford, NJ | |
Great wedding/banquet facility. I've been to almost 10
events there and it's always fantatstic. The best money
you'll spend on a banquet bar none.
| New Lido Diner | Springfield, NJ | |
Basic diner food is good. At any diner, I don't stretch my
luck. Easy access off Route 22 from either side if you need to meet
someone.
| The Village Gourmet | Rutherford, NJ | |
Good food, comfortable atmosphere, but can be very tight. Gets
busy, you'll have a wait and maybe a budge for elbow room.
| Texas Arizona | Hoboken, NJ | |
This place is smack of the subway station in Hoboken. Great nightlife,
as if that was tough in Hoboken. Has outside seating as well. I
haven't eaten there much, but the bar scene kicks.
| Allendale Bar & Grill | Allendale, NJ | |
Been there a few times. Even had a business meeting w/ dinner upstairs.
Never disappointed. Good food/atmosphere. It can get pretty
busy though.
| Forum Diner | Paramus, NJ | |
Good size diner with good parking. Easy to get off route 4 east
or west. Comfortable clean atmosphere.
| Chicken & Rib Crib | Hawthorne, NJ | |
Doesn't look to good when you get there, but that's why
it's a takeout joint. I was looking for baby rack ribs. They
just have the big ones. But they were pretty good. I wasn't
real happy with the wings, I like them a little more well done.
I'll ask for them that way next time.
