| Picolo's Espresso | Olympia, WA | |

You can always depend on a great latte at a reasonable price here!
They're always willing to make it just the way YOU want it.

| Little Richard's Sandwich Shop | Olympia, WA | |
|
Nice little sandwich shop with a wonderful atmosphere. A favorite
lunch destination in Olympia. Sandwiches are big, fresh, and
they're willing to accomodate your special requests.

| J - Vee's Bread-Board Restaurant | Olympia, WA | |
|
This restaurant is located inside of a health food store, which
should give you some idea of the food that they offer. If you're
into sprouts, vegetable juices and all-natural food, this is
the place to go!

| Sakura Japanese Steak House | Olympia, WA | |
|
More entertainment than sustenance. The chef's can put on a good
show if they're in the mood, but I don't recommend anyone planning
on a hearty meal here.

| El Sarape | Olympia, WA | |
|
Excellent place to fill up on authentic Mexican food! The atmosphere
is authentic and the waitstaff, hosts/hostesses and bartenders
are always very friendly. Fun place to celebrate a birthday too!

| Dirty Daves Gay 90's Pizza Parlor | Lacey, WA | |
|
Great place for everyone! Super steamer clams at a reasonable
price, and some of the best garlic bread around!

||
| Izzy's Pizza Restaurant | Olympia, WA | |
|
Not that great, unless you're starving and want to eat a lot of
'so-so' food. Very disappointed in their pizza, and the salad
bar lacks originality. The chicken is also way too greasy.

| Saigon Rendez Vous Restaurant | Olympia, WA | |
|
An EXCELLENT Veitnamese restaurant. Always
get great service, excellent food and still leave with money
in our pockets. The booths could use some new padding, but I guess
one can't have everything! I can't recommend it more!

| Rib Eye Restaurant - Olympia | Olympia, WA | |
|
Typical little greasy spoon, but offering up some decent chow,
at a decent price. The smoke-filled room (VERY small place) rather
ruins the experience. And I'm a smoker!

| Thai Dish Restaurant | Olympia, WA | |
|
Very unimpressed with the food here. I finally talked some of
my friends into doing Thai for lunch, and we ended up here. No one
was thrilled. The star-rating system isn't very accurate either.
I ordered my typical 3 stars and it barely warmed my mouth.

| Osaka | Olympia, WA | |
|
This restaurant has the best sushi bar in the county! The sushi
chef prepares everything to order, right before your eyes. Truly
an art-form, and very fresh and delicious! They also have many
classic and authentic Japanese dishes, but I always go for the
sushi! Excellent service, excellent food, I can't give it a higher
recommendation.

| Budd Bay Cafe | Olympia, WA | |
|
A classy, though pricey restaurant right on the bay. Good seafood
and excellent service combine to offer a great dining experience.
The clam chowder is great! Romantic atmosphere, not necessarily
a place you'd want to take the kids to.

| Happy Teriyaki | Olympia, WA | |
|
Dependable and delicious Japanese fast food (Teriyaki, Yaki
Udon, etc). Always generous on the portions and very reasonably
priced. Great place for the whole family! I always took my Japanese
exchange students here, and they LOVED it!

| Mekong Restaurant | Olympia, WA | |
|
Very decent Thai food. Can get anything from * to *****. Last time
I got my usual *** and it wasn't nearly spicy enough. They have
great Thai Iced Coffee. And a very large vegetarian menu, as well
as the regular Thai dishes.

| Urban Onion Restaurant Olympia | Olympia, WA | |
|
A mostly vegetarian 'alternative' type restaurant. Most of
the dishes are good, as well as 'politically correct'. (sprouts
and lentils

| Falls Terrace Restaurant | Olympia, WA | |
|
I find that you pay more for the atmosphere and view here than you
do for the food. The food is good, but not fantastic, and the attitude
seems a little elitist. OK place to go, if you're not paying the
check and you want to dress up! Definitely not a place for young
or ill-mannered children.

||
| Nickelby's Restaurant | Olympia, WA | |
|
Not the absolute worst place I've been, but definitely not the
best either, by far. I'd eat here if I were starving to death and
there wasn't another restaurant within 50 miles.

| Olympia Oyster House | Olympia, WA | |
|
Since they did the remodel a couple years ago, this is a nice place
to go, though they could've passed on the neon lights that are
visible from the water. One of the older restaurants in Olympia,
it offers good seafood, outdoor dining, and a nice bar. The prices
are a bit steep, but you're also paying for the atmosphere, which
is enjoyable.

||
| Seven Gables | Olympia, WA | |
|
Seven Gables is located in a converted Victorian style house
overlooking the bay. A very romantic atmosphere, but I believe
they are no longer open for lunch or dinner, only for special catered
occasions.
I went there for brunch the morning after my wedding, and the atmosphere
was lovely, but the dining rooms were small, and the food portions
are smaller. The food was so-so.

| Anthony's HomePort | Olympia, WA | |
|
A chain seafood restaurant, Anthony's HomePort is one of Olympia's
newest, overlooking the bay, on the north end of the boardwalk
at Percival Landing. It is dependable for consistently excellent
food, service and atmosphere. It arguably has the best clam chowder
in Olympia. (Last time I was there, an elderly couple told me that
they favorite chowder used to be at Budd Bay, but that Anthony's
is even better.)
One of my favorite seafood places in Olympia to go to.
