The steaks here are rather good. They come to your table still
sizzling in butter. Yes, I know this is a gimmick, but it's a good
one. The desserts are very good; rich and heavy. Probably the
best feature is the wine list.
The atmosphere at the DuPont Ruth's Chris will depend on where
you sit. It's generally a more upscale enviroment, with the patrons
dressed accordingly. If you get a seat near the windows on the
ground floor, it's nothing special. If you get a seat more inside
the restaurant (or better yet, upstairs), the feel is that of
a mountain chalet. Very intimate.

This is a fairly standard sports bar type eatery. It is owned by
a former athlete, so a significant amount of sports paraphenalia
hang on the walls.
The food was average. It didn't stand out, but it wasn't bad either. The interior is fairly dark and very loud -- even more so when a sporting event is on the hanging televisions. The outdoor bar is a nice touch, though. |

Nice location, good view of the river. Very busy place, plan for
a wait for a table.
The buffett is rather good, with a pretty good variety. The quality was a bit higher than what I have normally found for buffetts. |

Cheap food in a small bar. You get what you pay for.
There's NTN trivia and some nights they do karaoke. |

For DC, this is a good. For other places, it's at best an average.
Maybe it's just me, but I can't find decent Italian in this city.
I have to hop a train to Philly to get the good stuff.
Good location, good atmosphere, bad parking. They have a pretty good wine selection, too. |
