An excellant restaurant, the food is very good and the portions are generous as well. The place is usually packed, but they hand you a beeper (with short range) so you can check out the video store next door while you wait. The atmosphere is very nice and appropriate for bringing a date and also very nice for bringing the family. The waitress was very courtious and patient with my daughter's inability to decide and even had a suggestion which she liked. I haven't had thier after dinner treats yet, after the food that was heaped on us, never had room! A good choice for a good evening.

I love this place!! The food was excellant and the portions were so large that I could not finish them. I have been to other "Cajun" places who thought "blackened" food meant Burnt food BUT NOT HERE!!!! This place knows how to cook the food and serve up some good eats. They offer for most entrees three levels of fire; 1. Spicy = My choice and I liked it, Just plain good spicing without too much peppers which only brings pain and nothing of value to the meal! 2. Medium = this would be for the people who like those cream cheese stuffed peppers, just not really that much heat. 3. Mild = this is for the people who like food that says hello but doesn't use any heat, but I have to warn you even this may be too much if all you are used to is Burger places! They will special serve you an entree with no Spice or heat at all, But why did you come to a Cajun place? Thier lunch menu serves some good food also for and average of $12, But keep in mind, this is a good place and the people do come here for lunch, so if you want a seat, make it an early lunch.

I was sent to Kirtland for six weeks for the Academy and so had the chance to try this place. As on base facilities go, this place wasn't that bad, actually better than most of the base restaurants I've endured. The food was good and the prices were reasonable and the staff were clean and courtius. I still heard too much noise in the dining area and it wasn't from a bunch of happy customes chatting about the place either, I couldn't tell where it was coming from but it put me off from my meal any way. If you are sent to this base and want a decent meal without leaving the base then this would be a good choice.

An excellant Steak House, The atmosphere is very nice and is made to look like a campfire scene with each table area made to resemble a small covered wagon. The food is very well prepared and the hostess is very attentive. The kids liked looking and the campfire setting in the center area with sand filled area and stuffed animals made to look as if they are free roaming. The people are very nice and courtious and the price very reasonable for a Steak House with such enjoyable food.

For a truck stop this isn't a bad place, I have eaten here several time and the food was always good with the prices quite reasonable. It reminds me of most every other diner/burger place and so doesn't stand out that much in decor. The food is good and the people were very courtious so this is a good place to bring the family for a good meal

This is an excellant restaurant!!! I love a good steak house and this is one to go to! The cuts are superb and cooked exactly the way you want them. (They know what medium rare is supposed to be!) The decor reminds a lot of people of the prarie schooner but there are enough differences for you to soon get over that. his is the place to bring that person you want to WOW. Bring the In-laws here, they will be talking about it even after they go home.

Family restaurant which was a little to noisy for my liking and I don't mean from the customers. Kitchen noises were easily heard in the dining area. The waitress was real bad in keeping my cup full and I even had to sneak over to another table to get sugar and creamer. We wound up sharing our pot of coffee with another customer at a table beside us because he had been waiting so long and was too shy to chase the waitress down. If McDonalds is open you'll be better off going there.

I liked this place, the food was tasty and the employees were courtious. It's another burger place and from them I just expect good food, clean areas and nice looking courtious employees. ( I don't like seeing the person behind the counter with stuff smeared all over thier clothing or thier hair falling across my tray as it is handed to me. If you are in the mall and get hungry, try this place for a quick bite.

This was a good restaurant, Pretty much what I would expect from a Mongolian restaurant. The food was not over cooked and the foods were not mixed together getting unwanted spices into each other's food. I like my stuff so spicy that tears are just the beginning but my wife and kids do not have the same Cast Iron tounge. This place was very good about cleaning the grill between cookings and in keeping multiple orders seperate while on the grill. I've been to places where You really shouldn't bother spicing your food as the grill was still covered in spices from previous diners, BLEH!! NOT HERE!! If you like Mongolian try this place.

This is another burger bar trying to compete with a hundred other burger bars. There was nothing distinguishing about it. The food was ok and the facilities were clean but nothing to make me want to come back, if anything thier toy for their kids meal was so cheesy that I'd rather not return for that reason.

BLEH! Thr only reason I even went here in the first place was because I was rushed for time and did have the time to go offbase. The restrooms were dirty, kitchen noises were easily heard in the dining area and the people cleaning the tables looked as if they were wiping the tables with thier arms and then wiping them on thier clothes. Next time I will just get a candy bar from a machine.

I agree! I have alway's liked going to Wendy's. My favorite always a good hot bowl of Chile although I didn't see that on the menu there this time. The food is hot and filling and when you look at it it doesn't look as if it was mashed down to fit in the wrapper.
