| El Sol Mexican Restaurant | Logan, UT | |
|
very good, fairly authentic mexican food. Good prices and service.

| Bluebird Restaurant The Restaurant | Logan, UT | |
|
Great food and lots of it. Prices are very reasonable. This
restaurant is a fixture of Logan. Visit it if nothing else. Don't
forget to see the mural in the back room (kind of hokey, but fun
nevertheless).

| Crown Burgers Restaurant | Layton, UT | |
|
Great hamburgers, especially the Crown Burger (Pastrami).
Everything is good and the prices are very reasonable.
Quality at this chain is very consistent between locations.

| The Burger Stop | Layton, UT | |
|
Good food and a good environment. Service can be a bit spotty.
You may have to wait for a little longer to get your food, but it
will be worth it.

| Olive Garden | Layton, UT | |
|
For a chain, this is one of the better ones. If you like authentic
Italian food, go to an authentic Italian restaurant. But if you
like Italian-style food, Olive garden is very good.
Don't pass up the salad, served family style. It may take some
getting used to but you will quickly develop a urge to return if
nor nothening more than the salad.
Prices are reasonable, but expect a wait, especially during
the prime dining times.

| Chicks Cafe | Heber City, UT | |
|
If you don't like meat and lots of it, stay away. You will be served
a huge hamburger with real potatoes for fries (with the grease
still dripping off) and wonderful desserts.
|
||
| La Beau's Drive Inn | Garden City, UT | |
|
During raspberry season, this is one of the better places to be
for a fresh raspberry shake. It will get crouded so be patient--it's
worth the wait.
Other food is good. Even their breakfasts were fine, which for
a fast food place is different. Prices are reasonable though
service will be a little slower in the off season. Plan on dining
in your car or outside because there is very little room inside
the restaurant.

| Porter's Place | Lehi, UT | |
|
Porters Place was supposed to have been owned by the legendary
Porter Rockwell, bodyguard to Joseph Smith and Brigham Young.
It was said he bought this saloon and set up shop in Lehi, only a
few miles from LDS Church headquarters.
The centerpiece of the restaurant is the antique bar, an original
piece of furniture.
The menu itmes are given cutsie names. The food is good and priced
reasonably. But don't miss the baked beans!

| Greenery Restaurant The | Ogden, UT | |
|
Part of Rainbow Gardens, the Greenery now sits where the old dressing
rooms were when Rainbow Gardens was a pool. Sitting on the edge
of the Ogden River at the mouth of Ogden Canyon, the restaurant
is a pleasant dining experience.
Lunch time may be a bit crowded, but they seem do really move people
in and out. The service has always been good as has the food. Prices
are reasonable.
One of their specialties is the Mormon Muffin. Though I have never
had one, others tell me they are wonderful.
