| Bell's North Union Street Bar | Lambertville, NJ | |

A nice neighborhood place. I enjoyed grilled tuna with a garlic
aioli served over a huge mound of garlic mashers (they weren't
kidding about the garlic - whew!). Enjoyable, affordable, and
comfortable.

| Ship Inn | Milford, NJ | |
|
A good place for a drink and a round of darts. The home brews are
not that good, the food is standard pub fare.

| The Baker | Milford, NJ | |
|
Good coffee and top quality baked goods!! Their whole wheat french
loaves are a nice switch from the typical white Italian style
bread. The chocolate croisants are great (warm them up a bit before
serving), and the seeded dinner rolls are always a big hit, too!

| Vegas Diner & Restaurant | Wildwood, NJ | |
|
FAST service!! The waitresses have a cup of coffee in front of
me before my butt hits the booth. The food is good, and the place
is very clean!! Parking is a big plus in Wildwood!! You are in,
out, and on the beach in no time with a good breakfast in your belly!

| The Prime Rib | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
A decent place for upscale dining. Service was a bit sloppy and
untimely, disappointing for a place with tuxedo clad help and
check average of $55 a head, and that doesn't include booze. The
food was quite good, very lean steaks, dry aged - perfectly cooked
to temperature. The room was very nice, large (fake) flower displays
are the focal point of the room (they could use a serious dusting,
though). A piano adds a nice touch to the room as well.

| Dimitri's | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
I love this place, probably my favorite in center city. Great
food in a bustling, unpretentious space. Good service and BYOB.
You must try (in no particular order) the hummus, octopus, baba
ganoush, broiled oysters(usually a special), and the scampi.
The flan is good and the rice pudding is great!!!!!!! First come
first serve, no reservations. Go on over to the New Wave for a drink
before diner, your server will come and get you when they have
a table at Dimitri's. A fun place, recommended!!!!

| Down Home Diner | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
The catfish PoBoy sandwich is excellent. The food here is always
consistantly good, and the service as well.
|
||
| Jamaican Jerk Hut | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
The braised ox tail is good, wash it down with a spicey ginger beer.
The jerk chicken is excelent as well. Recommended!

||
| Manayunk Brewing Co | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
A fun place to grab a burger and sample some home brews. The paintings
of the jazz musicians on the walls are fun. My grandfather loves
this place. A good place for lunch.

| Mc Gillins Old Ale House | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
A fun hang out for happy hour. A nice crowd of students/professionals
gather. Also a fun place on St. Patty's day. They pack 'em in like
sardines. The place can get a bit smokey at times.

| Mexican Post Restaurant & Bar | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
Good margaritas, good food, good service. Always a good crowd.
The shrimp wrapped in bacon are excellent, as well as the chile
relenos!!
|
||
| Mustard Green Restaurant | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
Top notch chinese food. The service is excellent, and the food
is outrageous!!! The ginger spiced cabbage (kimichi) was a real
standout, many vegetarian items as well.
|
||
| New Wave Cafe | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
If you are starving, and can't wait any longer for Dimitri's to
get you a table, then the appetizers at The New Wave are OK. I would
suggest just waiting for your table and sticking to the drinks.
Decent bar food, nothing great.

| Rose Tattoo | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
Very romantic eatery. The food and service were stellar. Standouts
included the crab cakes and dessert. An excellent choice for
a special occassion dinner.
|
||
| Santa Fe Burrito Co | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
Simply put "THE BOMB"!! The best burrittos ever. Try the black
bean with faux beef, good stuff!!!!!
|
||
| Zeke's Fifth Street Deli Bkry | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
A great place for bagel and lox while sipping coffee and reading
the paper. Huge portions and good service. Very clean.
|
||
| Mc Glade's On the Pier | Cape May, NJ | |
|
The best view for breakfast in the area! You sit on a covered porch
75 yards away from the ocean, very serene. The food is good, the
service is OK, but hey - what do you expect for breakfast. BYOB
- bring your champagne for a morning mamosas.

||
| Alfe's Restaurant | Wildwood, NJ | |
|
A good place to go for CONSISTANT Italian food. It doesn't matter
if you go in the middle of August, or the middle of February, the
food is always good, but simple. Pricey, but a nice place to bring
the kids. The main dining room is a touch on the tacky side, reminds
me of where my high school held their proms.
|
||
| Wharf | Wildwood, NJ | |
|
The Wharf is a great place to end a great day at the beach! Typical
bar fare (wings, hamburgers, raw bar), or you can dine inside
and have a bit more of an upscale meal. A good place to have a drink
and some munchies and watch the sun go down. Fast, friendly service
as well.
|
||
| Siam Thai Restaurant | Lambertville, NJ | |
|
A good place to meet a group of friends! The service is friendly,
and the food is mostly good. You must try the homemade coconut
ice cream, the best ever!! Other standouts would be the duck,
and the vermichelli (sp?) which shrimp and ground pork. Order
many dishes and pass them around.
