| Panera Bread | Oklahoma City, OK | |
|
Panera Bread is one of my favorite sandwich shops, and my wife finally
got to experience it with me. They have yummy soups, delicious European-style
breads (which they bake right there in the bakery), and flavorful sandwiches
as well as salads & crispanis (pizzas).

| Deep Fork Grill | Oklahoma City, OK | |
|
This place is top-notch! They have only been around for about 11 years
now, but The Deep Fork Grill has the best service and delicious food.
They provide such a great overall experience that it's worth the
extra money. They have a good wine selection, great appetizers, and
the Chilean Sea Bass is drop-dead perfect. They treated our children
like we have been going to their restaurant for generations. They have
a few booths with privacy curtains for a very intimate experience,
and genuine woodburning fireplaces as well. Valet parking is also
available in this very easy-to-find location.

| Michael's Pizza | Clarksville, TN | |
|
These guys rock! You can eat there at the restaurant, order for carry-out
or have them deliver. Their pizzas are freakishly delicious, with
a great selection of ingredients. Their pizza crust is AWESOME and
should be put in the Pizza Hall of Fame. They also have salads, sandwiches
and wings, sodas, breadsticks/cheesesticks, garlic cheese bread,
and some nummin' dipping sauces.

| Get Some Coffee | Clarksville, TN | |
|
Michelle & Tony own and operate this awesome little coffee shop
right off of Exit 1 of I-24 on the Tennessee side of the Tennessee/Kentucky
border. It is located just next to the movie theater, an awesome pizza
joint, and right near the BP gas stations and Coldstone Creamery. Their
coffee has a more robust, less burnt flavor than Starbucks and the prices
here are comparable or better. They have all the lattes, cappuccinos,
coffees, frappes, and juices/waters you would ever need. They also
have deserts and snacks there as well. The atmosphere is very comfortable
with board games, TV's, newspapers, magazines, complete with
both chair and bench seating. And the newest addition to this shop is
the very high-speed (6Mbps) internet access (via Wi-Fi and two available
workstations). They take very good care of their customers and have
a good set of regulars that enjoy coming back for more and more (this
includes my wife and 3yr old daughter). They have military discounts
on Tuesdays and other specials that go on during the week. Definitely
a place to put on your calendar for visits.

| Tandoor | Clarksville, TN | |

I've eaten at Indian restaurants around the world, and even considering
that this is in Clarksville, Tennessee, it is excellent, authentic
Indian cuisine. My wife and I have eaten here numerous times, and we're
always treated well here. You can order a variety of dishes with any
level of spiciness here, and they have some HOT stuff for those who aren't
faint-hearted when it comes to spicy. It is family owned and run, and
is located between the main strip and the mall. They have normal chair-seating,
and lowered booths with pillow/cushion seats as well. It's a bit
on the pricey side, with entree/dishes averaging around $13 - 16, and
a couple into the $24 range. But overall, a good authentic experience.

| Abalonetti | Monterey, CA | |
|
Every time that I have eaten here, the service has been impeccable.
All the waiters/waitresses go out of their way constantly to
ensure that you are provided the ultimate dining experience.
However they aren't standing on your shoulder; it is definitely
well-balanced service.
The location is of course gorgeous; most seats have great views
of the bay. The food is great; their specialty is the calamari
and they have it available in many different ways. For an appetizer
I recommend the combination platter which comes with portions
of all their marinated dishes.
The bill can be a little pricey, but well worth it if you want excellent
food with even better service.
