| Salt Grass Steak House | Lewisville, TX | |

My wife and I have dined there about once a month for the last six
months and the food and service has always been excellent. As
a matter it is one of the few that seems to place emphasis on good
service and manners from the wait staff...a rare commodity these
days.

| Poe's Pub | Richmond, VA | |
|
Super neat place for ribs and catfish. Steak sandwiches are also
excellent. An outstanding choice to kick back with great service,
a few beers and excellent food. I highly recommend the ribs and
catfish and that's a compliment for sure coming from a Texan eating
in what we call a "Beer Joint" in Virginia

| Nate's Seafood & Steakhouse | Addison, TX | |
|
Excellent Cajun menu with owner/chef being from deep in Cajun
country at Lafayette, LA. Gumbo is outstanding and garlic bread
is special. Oyster PoBoys was as good as I've ever eaten. I will
definately go again....soon.

| Gardens Restaurant & Motel | Litchfield, IL | |

Excellent food and service. Was on the road recently with daughter
and grand daughter and had dinner on a Friday nite and was delighted
with the service and the food. Pork chop was excellent for less
than $10.00. This Texan will stop there again when in the area.
Lots of value for your money.

Food was not very good, service terrible and expensive for the
area. Would never go back.

| Clear Springs Restaurant | New Braunfels, TX | |
|
One of a kind place. Everytime I'm in San Antonio on business I
drive just to eat at Clear Springs and I'm never disappointed.
My sister in law is in a wheel chair and she would get up and walk
to partake of their onion rings. HINT: Two people order just a
half order unless you are really hungry. It's the real deal.

| Mc Gehee Catfish Restaurant | Marietta, OK | |
|
I have been going to this place since it's opening and it has always
been outstanding. The cole slaw is wonderful as is the tomato
relish. I just ate there last Sunday and it was as it has been....outstanding.
I would highly recommend finding it, because it is about 5 miles
from nowhere...just go east off I-35 and follow the signs...don't
give up because it is definately worth the drive.

| Rhineland Haus | Mc Kinney, TX | |
|
The best German food this side of the Atlantic that I have found.
It is truly a well kept secret. I have spent a lot of time in Germany
and this is truly representative of the breed. Order anything
because it is all outstanding and the ambiance is that of a real
German "gast haus". Good value lunches. My wife and I love the
place.
