| Rose Tattoo | Philadelphia, PA | |

This is my favorite restaurant in the city. The best food and staff
in the city in my opinion (and I've been to many including 5 stars
like LeBec Fin and Striped Bass). Their prices are very reasonable
and everything on the menu and wine list is wonderful (make sure
you get the desert!). Here's a tip for you if you're looking for
the most romantic setting; when making your reservations ask
for seating in the balcony. They have nice tables for two up there.
You won't be dissapointed!

| Primo Hoagies | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
This is the best hoagie shop in the city. They have about 2 dozen
different hoagies served on their daily baked hard bread. Order
up early because once they run out of bread (usually around 2 o'clock
on weekends), they close up shop. Be sure to try their poppers
too, they're excellent.

| John Harvard's Brew House | Wayne, PA | |
|
I would go here from time to time on Friday's after work. This is
a good place to go for a burger or chicken fingers but nothing else
food wise. The beer, on the other hand, is very good (and my main
reason for my visits). If you like heavy beers like Murphy's or
Guiness, try their Oatmeal Stout.

| J B Winberie Restaurant & Bar | Princeton, NJ | |
|
They have great food at reasonable prices and large portions.
The atmosphere and service is good also. Be sure to try the fondu.

| P J's Pancake House Restaurant | Princeton, NJ | |
|
This is the best breakfast in the area, if you can get a seat. As
you can probably guess, pancakes are their specialty and there
isn't a bad choice of them on the menu. The only downside is the
crowds but wait it out, it's worth it.

| Princetonian Diner | Princeton, NJ | |
|
I went here twice and had the same experience both times. A medium
well burger = rare to them and the service was nonexistant, even
during offpeak hours. We found another diner on 130 and never
went back again.

| Americana Diner & Restaurant | Hightstown, NJ | |
|
I like this diner a lot. The service is friendly and the food is
pretty good (for a diner). This is a nice place to go for breakfast
or real late at night for coffee and pie. It's a great place to go
after a bar to relax and have a conversation.

| Cranbury Inn Restaurant | Cranbury, NJ | |
|
This is another restaurant who seems to think medium well = rare
(it was rare to the point of being cold to the touch). When I asked
them if they could place it back on the grill for a little more I
got the nastiest glare. Someone else mentioned them "trying
to be 5-star snooty and failing
terribly"...well in my opion they got the snooty part down perfectly.
It's no wonder George Washington only slept there...

| Chart House Restaurant | Annapolis, MD | |
|
The atmosphere, food and service here is great. I recommend their
crab bisque (which is great at any Chart House) and their honey-mustard
salmon. They have some very nice wines and their specialty coffee
was good also. Although a bit expensive, a great experience.

||
| Greene Turtle | Edgewater, MD | |
|
They have a very relaxed atmosphere here with very friendly service.
Their sandwiches and burgers are great and they have a well stocked
bar. My parents live around here (I'm over 2 hours away) and eventhough
I'm only down in MD a few times a year, I still pop in every trip.

| Brew Moon Restauarnt Microbrew | King of Prussia, PA | |
|
Stick to the basics on the menu (burgers and appitizers) and you
won't be let down. Go for the beer and a small bite to eat, rather
than a meal. Service at the tables is a bit slow but sit at the bar
and you won't have any problems getting their attention.

||
| Saladworks | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
Good sized salads with many different choices. It is a fast food
place though so there's nothing special about the service and
it's in a very busy location.

| Samuel Adams Brew House | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
They have a nice atmosphere here and the food was very good . This
is a great place for a group of friends to go for steak and a few beers.
|
||
| Shula Steak II | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
This is the perfect sports bar with a healthy variety of appitizers,
beer and more televisions than you can count. Their prices were
kinda high but the extra dollars you pay is worth it to be able to
watch a dozen different games at the same time.

||
| Smokey Joe's Tavern | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
The food here was good for a basic meal (burger and fries or chicken
fingers). It's more of a place to go to during the fall when all
the students are back and have a few drinks.
|
||
| Spaghetti Warehouse | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
The portions here are huge. They have great service and the price
is well worth it for the amount you get in return.
|
||
| Striped Bass | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
I went here for a business lunch and they make a great impression
here. The food and service was excellent and I'd doubt there was
a bad choice on the menu. Be prepared to spend $$$ though, I heard
that the prices go higher if you go for dinner.

| Tequila's | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
This restaurant is one of the most fun in the city. The atmosphere,
food and service are all great. They also have the best margaritas
I've ever had. All this makes it a great place to go on a date.

||
| Koch's Take Out Shop | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
This deli is great. It's well worth both the drive and the wait
to get one of their sandwiches. Very popular with University
City students.
|
||
| Le Bec-Fin | Philadelphia, PA | |
|
We're talking the top of the line here. To give you all an idea I
dropped over $300 on dinner for two with a bottle of wine, so it
is really pricy. Everything is great but the only thing in my opinion
keeping it from five stars is that I know of a few restaurants in
the city where one can get the same quality for half the price.
Definately an experience though, worth doing it at least once!
