Oxford House Inn Fryeburg, ME
Unbelievable cusine!!! 50 diners in 3 rooms. Open 6 to 9 Thursday through Sunday in winter and spring and nightly in summer and fall. Four course dinner for two with wine and tip for about $100.00. Not cheap, but worth it.
Bethel Inn & Country Club Bethel, ME
Was there with the Porsche Club for lunch. Beautiful place, nice atmosphere, good food. Not cheap but worth it.
Dysart's Service Bangor, ME
Certainly not a bad truck stop restaurant. Food plentiful and not bad. Reasonably priced.
Momma Baldacci's Italian Bangor, ME
Not bad. Nowhere near as good as the old "Baltimore" restaurant that they ran under the Bangor/Brewer bridge many years ago.
Captain Nick's Bangor, ME
They put some unidentified spice in all their seafood stuffing that I don't care for but the seafood isn't bad, the meat (which I don't eat but my husband does) is VERY good. I've never had a bad experience with the wait staff there and the atmosphere is nice.
Homestead Unity, ME
Nice everyday restaurant. Good food, clean, pleasant wait staff. Good value for prices.
Weathervane Waterville, ME
I thought that this was a better example of chain restaurants. A great improvement on the one in Brewer, Maine. Completely satisfied with our experience there. Food good, service good, nice atmosphere.
Helen's Restaurant Ellsworth, ME
This restaurant is very well known, not just locally but all over. It's reputation is absolutely the best! Food is excellent, place clean if plain, and desserts, pies especially, are raved about! Any time I have been there the wait staff has been most pleasant. VERY good place to eat. Lobster stew is to die for!
Mohawk Trail Diner Hudson, ME
Not bad. Scrambled eggs are strange: not what I call scrambled just beaten and poured out to cook into a flat, unfilled omelet! Quick burgers, regular meals, etc.
All-In-1-Stop Lagrange, ME
Not a bad place to eat. Has bar where you can get a drink or a meal while smoking. If you want to try "Alligator" or "Frog's legs" for $5.99 & $6.99 or want a "Bloomin' onion with various sauces" for $5.99 try it; you won't be dissapointed. Wait staff very pleasant - nice and clean! Also has lobster. You can even pick your own from the tank. At last visit they had: "Boiled Lobster on a 3# bed of steamed clams" for $14.95. Not bad!
House of Pizza Milo, ME
Very good pizza - fast food. Italian sandwiches can't be beat anywhere I've been.
Augusta House of Pancakes Augusta, ME
Never had breakfast there but lunch is great! Much better than most IHOPs Also good for meetings which is how I found it.
Olive Garden Restaurant Augusta, ME
The usual "olive Garden" chain-style restaurant. Long wait for table as with most of them. Fake Italian like all "OG"s
Harraseeket Inn Freeport, ME
Quite expensive for the average person but well worth splurging on once in awhile. The food was luscious, the dessert out of this world, and the Inn itself is lovely
Jameson Tavern Restaurant Freeport, ME
Very good food. Luncheon reasonably priced - dinner a bit more on the expensive side.
Montsweag Farm Woolwich, ME
Very interesting place - all kinds of antiques to look at while you wait. Good food.
Gingerbread House Oquossoc, ME
Really not too sure of the average price - I was there with a crowd and not paying myself. It was really good food. But Oquossoc is at the end of nowhere! Beautiful country, worth the drive.
Ninety Five Market-Diner Howland, ME
Clean. Good food. Regular truck stop - family restaurant. They have what they call a "Spanish" omelet; I'd call it "Italian" its got spaghetti sauce on it. Great breakfasts.
Wagon Wheel Restaurant Guilford, ME
Good food. Not open all week in winter only four days. Can be a rough place in the evenings. Serves liquor and can get pretty noisy and rough.
Drake's Restaurant Guilford, ME
Very good food, especially desserts. Family type restaurant. Clean and freindly.
