Professional staff but not too stuffy. Come here for the great
fresh seafood and have a great time. Always busy - lunch, happy
hour and dinner. Reservations are always adviseable.
Menu is a bit too busy to read - too much like work or some research
project. But it seems that they are proud of it, because the layout
had not changed...and could the menu get ANY bigger? It is definitely
a "stop talking and get serious about reading" kind of menu.
But that aside, order another martini and wait for the calamari
or shrimp cocktail appetizers. Always try the special entrees!

What a great find! In a cozy neighborhood area of Capitol Hill,
away from the crowds, this comfortable quiet, yet airy restaurant
with life trees reaching up to the skylight boasts some of the
best pasta, veal, and seafood italian dishes I've tasted! Reasonable
prices were an unexpected surprise when walking into such a fine
restaurant with linen tablecloths and napkins and top notch
service! It made it easy to keep going back regularly - and most
patrons are regulars - the staff knew many by name.
The fresh rolls and generous dinner portions make it difficult
to save room for dessert - but do! The tartuffo and tirmisu can't
be beat! Along with an espresso or amaretto, they top off such
a nice evening.
I heard the Sunday brunch is great with a Southern touch - the owner is from the South! |
