| Ulbrick Cafe | Nebraska City, NE | |
|
This is the best place in the state for family style dining, however
if you plan to go you had better call well (at least a week or better)
in advance as they only serve a limited number of people each evening
and generally no walkins are taken

| Misty's Restaurant & Lounge | Lincoln, NE | |
|
Excellent assortment of red meats, seafood, wine and other items
associated with fine dining. The prime rib is a must have for the
beef lover!

| Valentino's Pizza | Lincoln, NE | |
|
The main reason to go to Valentinos is the pizza/a little bit of
everything else buffet. Good food but the pizza sauce is a bit
too sweet for my taste.

| Renaissance | Lincoln, NE | |
|
This is without a doubt the best place in town to eat, however you
may need to be independently wealthy or have a good banker to afford
to do it on a regular basis. Don't plan to leave the Rennaisance
soon after arriving as this is true seven course dining and the
average meal is served in about a 2 hour time span including wine,
drinks, salad, soups, appetizers, main course, desert, after
dinner drinks etc.

| Hi-Way Diner | Lincoln, NE | |
|
If you like the old style of greasy spoon diner this is a good place
to go for breakfast or after a night out. They also have good and
reasonably priced lunch items too.

| Tasty Inn | Lincoln, NE | |
|
If you only have five dollars in your pocket and need a place to
eat this might be for you but their greasy loosemeat sandwiches
would definately have to be a last resort.

| Knolls Restaurant & Lounge | Lincoln, NE | |
|
This is an extremely overpriced low grade country club that is
there only to support others golf habits, the 3-4 times I have
been there I was sorely disappointed in quality of food, service,
and price.

| Merle's Food & Drink | Lincoln, NE | |
|
Small town restaurant actually not located in Lincoln but in
Emerald approx 6 mi to the west of Lincoln. This is a good place
for prime rib or steak.

| Famous Daves | Lincoln, NE | |
|
This is without a doubt the best bar-b-que in lincoln, none of
the other places can even compare to this. The only other plac
that I have ever eaten bar-b-que this good was in Kentucky.

| Shoemaker's Restaurant | Lincoln, NE | |
|
This is a good place for greasy truck stop type food because thats
exactly what it is. Unfortunately for me I found that it did not
agree with my palate.

| Brewsky's Food & Spirits | Lincoln, NE | |
|
If you are a sports fanatic and don't care too much about what kind
of food you eat this is your spot. Brewskys is known more for monday
night football, and Husker home game parties than for its food.

| Lee's Restaurant | Lincoln, NE | |
|
This is definately not a chinese restaurant as is listed in your
guide, Lees is strictly about fried chicken. Above average sized
pieces fried in crisp batter served on red and white checkered
plastic table cloths that cover old beat up wood benches while
a blind organist plays requests in the background. Actually
a nice place to take the family and the food is not too bad.
