I was not thrilled with this restaurant. Went there for breakfast
on the weekend. Prices were high for the portion size.

| Village Smokehouse | Brookline, MA | |
|
The barbeque is excellent, especially the ribs. The prices are
good and the atmosphere is upbeat. The restaurant is clean and
the waitstaff is courteous and attentive. I will come back for
more!

| Bisuteki Japanese Steak House | Revere, MA | |
|
Yes, it's a special occasion when the chef cooks right in front
of you and the food is good for the most part, but when there is a
complaint that needs to be addressed by the management, I wish
you luck. I found a sliver of glass while I was chewing. Fortunately,
I did not swallow it and i did not break my tooth. However, when
I showed the glass to the hostess, she was not impressed. I think
she should have been very concerned. I will not eat there again!

| Redbones Barbecue | Somerville, MA | |
|
I love RedBones. No one beats their baby back ribs and their catfish
is as good as any I've eaten in New Orleans. The atmosphere is casual
and they have a lot of beverages to choose from. Being a non-drinker,
I always order the lemonade which is served in a mason jar. I've
eaten here at least 10 times and have never been disappointed.

| Dali Restaurant & Tapas Bar | Somerville, MA | |
|
Excellent Tapas restaurant. Real party atmosphere. The host
was a riot and the the lingerie hanging from the rafters made the
whole dining experience feel decadent. It was great. Parking
is difficult and it is often very crowded so expect a line.

| Grumpy White's Restaurant | Quincy, MA | |
|
Grumpy Whites has a small neighborhood feel. The food is reasonable
and the ribs are very good. It's easy to find, right on Sea St. headed
toward Houghs Neck and Germantown.

||
| Sweet Chili | Arlington, MA | |
|
This restaurant is great for those on a budget. The PadThai especially
is wonderful. It is a small restaurant and has a cozy atmosphere.
The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous.

||
| Hilltop Steak House | Saugus, MA | |
|
I love the luncheon specials. They are all under $10 and well worth
it. Thursday's special is boiled dinner which my father can't
get enough of. In additio to specific daily specials, the lunch
menu offers a sirloin steak, broiled schrod and more.

||
| Grassfield's Food & Spirit | Waltham, MA | |
|
I wish to comment on the lunch menu. The salmon salad is excellent.
It comes with a large salmon steak over romaine lettuce and is
reasonably priced. It costs almost double on the dinner menu.
The atmosphere at Grassfields is subdued and relaxing. Lunchtime
it can get pretty crowded, so get there early, around 11:30.

| Anthony's Pier 4 Restaurant | Boston, MA | |
|
Pier4 needs to enter the new millenium. The food is just average,
but the prices are steep. I was disappointed with my meal because
the portion size was so small, yet the bill was so large. The one
positive thing I can say is the view is great if you are seated near
a window.

| Magnolia Cafe | New Orleans, LA | |
|
Food was great. Red beans, rice and andouille sausage was dynamite.
Server was courteous and accomodating.
|
||
| Crescent City Brewery | New Orleans, LA | |
|
This is a cool place. The atmosphere is friendly and cheerful,
the staff is friendly and courteous and the food is reasonably
priced and excellently prepared. Portions are large and there
is a good variety of entrees. I would definitely return.

| Petunias | New Orleans, LA | |
|
I loved this restaurant. The waitstaff was helpful, courteous
and more than accomodating. The menu offered variety. The food
was prepared perfectly. The backround music was classical and
the mood relaxed.

||
| Cafe Pontalba | New Orleans, LA | |
|
When I ate at this restaurant the service was terrible. The waitstaff
was so inattentive, I had to seek them out. My order was completely
wrong and the food was cold. I was very disappointed.

| La Madeleine-French Quarter Bakery and Cafe | New Orleans, LA | |
|
I had coffee and lavendar brulee. My companion had Flan. We left
full and happy. Very busy at lunchtime.
|
||
| Cafe Beignet | New Orleans, LA | |
|
Very quaint. Of course, jazz plays in the background. Staff is
courteous and efficient. Coffe was OK. Omelet was fair. Bagel
breakfast sandwich gets an A.
|
||
| Seaport Cajun Cafe and Bar | New Orleans, LA | |
|
My companion and I should have walked out at the get-go. The hostess
was rude, the waiter inattentive, and the food just OK. Maybe
it was just an off night. I'll never go back and find out.

||
| Emeril's Restaurant | New Orleans, LA | |
|
Being at Emeril's was a kick. The staff was very attentive, the
food was excellent and plentiful and the surroundings were casual,
though noisy at times. I will return on my next trip to New Orleans.
|
||
| French Market Restaurant And Bar | New Orleans, LA | |
|
The best live jazz around. Patio dining in a very casual atmosphere.
PoBoys are excellent and there is a breakfast buffet that is reasonably
priced and plentiful.
|
||
| Haagen Dazs Ice Cream | New Orleans, LA | |
|
The best ice cream around. The staff was friendly and the ice cream
was sooooo refreshing for a 95 degree day.
