Keo's Thai Cuisine Honolulu, HI
This is THE place to go for Thai food. Great locations, great atmosphere, great food, great service.
Outback Steak House Honolulu, HI
This is part of a chain, but a good chain. This is where you go for beef. A great salad is included with the meal. It's always crowded, and noisy, but a good value overall.
Hungry Lion Coffee Shop Honolulu, HI
A neighborhood "coffee shop" type of place, with simple food and good service and free parking. Every once in a while you get to see the guy in the hungry lion outfit!
Tony Roma's - Famous for Ribs Honolulu, HI
Part of a chain, but (again) a good chain. Their ribs are always tender, the onion loaf IS good. Sometimes it gets really crowded during dinner hours.
Eggs 'n Things Honolulu, HI
This place started out small, and years ago moved to a bigger location. BREAKFAST ONLY until 2 PM Then it reopens at 11 PM so you have someplace to get quality breakfast after an evening out. Food is really good, and portions are generous.
Wailana Coffee House Honolulu, HI
It's exactly what it says: a coffee shop. Same type of atmosphere, food, and service. It has high visibility. If you want good breakfast, go over to Eggs and Things instead.
Kozo Sushi Hawaii Honolulu, HI
But you can't leave here without spending more! Good food, good service, quick in and out... like the others in this operation. Stop by if you like sushi.
Kakaako Kitchen Honolulu, HI
Good to know where they moved! This is a great place for lunch. Food is great, portions generous. Always crowded with those who know of it, never saw it advertised. Always eat there when in Honolulu! Local and "mainland" type food, so it pleases everyone.
Round Table Pizza Honolulu, HI
Great pizzas. Friendly, but busy, staff. Validated parking. There is one more in Kailua where you can sit down and eat.
Kanak Attack Honolulu, HI
Yup, a great place. Good food, huge portions that overflow the plate. On street parking.
Kobe' Japanese Steak House Honolulu, HI
You MUST use the valet parking if you drive and don't want a major headache. More for the show than the food. Invaded by tourists all the time. You never get your reserved table on time, and wait in the bar for up to one hour. It's a place you take out of towners.
Auntie Pasto's Honolulu, HI
This place is really popular, so be prepared to stand in line to get in. They have a large selection of entrees. The prices are reasonable to moderate. The food is average, nothing special.
People's Cafe Honolulu, HI
Would never have thought to include this place! It is known for its good Hawaiian food and mostly local patrons.
Like Like Drive Inn Restaurant Honolulu, HI
Another "old timer" place, once one of the few where you could get decent food after a night out. Yes, it looks much better after the renovation, but the food and the service need a facelift too!
La Mer Honolulu, HI
Probably this has not been reviewed before because what resident can afford to eat here, unless it's the once in a lifetime special occasion. Everyone who lives here knows this is a GREAT place, especially for seafood. They also know that if John Dominis is expensive, this place costs even more!
If you have the bucks, go...you won't be sorry.
Mc Cully Chop Sui Honolulu, HI
Another 'old time' restaurant that's been around for ages. Has a loyal following. The food is decent, as are the prices. Nothing exceptional, and parking a headache.
Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki Honolulu, HI
This is a hotel restaurant. There is valet parking, but you can self park. The food was good, the prices high since everything was ala carte. Overall, this is not a place locals say "you gotta eat there."
Kozo Sushi Hawaii Honolulu, HI
Probably not reviewed before because of its location. The sushi is fresh; quick take out; there are several Kozo's, all of which are similar and reliable.
Kozo Sushi Honolulu, HI
Take out food, freshly made. Don't buy anything thats been standing, they will make it fresh if you ask. Good sushi, reasonable prices. One of several locations.
A Pacific Cafe-Oahu Honolulu, HI
Pacific Rim cuisine at its best. A little pricey when you get the final tab, but this place is know for good food and its presentation; and good staff.
