| La Fonda Restaurant | Deming, NM | |
|
This is a place that has been around since I was a kid. The decor
has changed but the food hasnt. Still basic good grub. Imagine
an atmosphere of diner, meets Tia's home cooked mexican
food. Still has jukeboxes at every table, mounds of tortilla
chips served with every meal, and Coke in bottles.

| Corner Landing | Ionia, MI | |
|
My sister's wedding reception was held here. Food was immensely
plentiful and of the savory home cooked type I tend to be a sucker
for. The service staff are exceptionally attentive even when
not catered. have made many trips back and enjoy dinner there
every time

| Mancino's Pizza & Grinders | Owosso, MI | |
|
Mom and i get lunch here when i get off the bus on the way home. If
your a hungry man, get the foot long, either way its a good munch.
My personal favorite is the meatball sub, it has all of the italian
spices on warm garlic bread. I have to finish it in one sitting.
Mom doesnt allow them in the fridge. What better meatball is there
than that?

| Eddie O'Flynns | Owosso, MI | |
|
Mom loves the ribs here. Mom is a bbq junkie. Bbq is one of the few
foods that she indulges in messiness with. I had a burger. Eddie
O'flynns is the homegrown version of Bennigan's, what
theyd like to be and didnt quite make. They have great soups and
breads, a causual yet classy dining atmosphere that lends itself
to relaxation. good food at good prices. Slainte

| Way Out West Restaurant | Las Cruces, NM | |
|
Was a great place before it lost its hole in the wall status and
became a copper clad icon of the southwestern theme restaurant.
The beer is still great. The food has become bland tourist fare.
It is a great place to go if you have visitors from the midwest who
have a pre-conceived notion of local color. For the price i can
reccomend a better hole in the wall that wont put your taste buds
to sleep.

| La Fiesta Mexicana | Ypsilanti, MI | |
|
This is one of the places my sister takes me every time we are in
town. Being from the southwest it isnt easy finding good mexican
in the midwest. Homemade Flan, sauces, limonada, and traditional
hot chocolate, as well as generous portions and excellent service
make the trip worthwhile. Definately like eating in moms kitchen.

| Bennigans Grill & Tavern | Las Cruces, NM | |
|
Close to campus, usual stock and trade theme restaurant. Good
for a hearty steak when the need hits. Good beer, more than generous
deserts. Not terribly original, but not dissappointing either.
One always leaves the table full.

| Nana's Italian Ristorante | Albuquerque, NM | |
|
Nana's is an excellent choice for the hungry who love Italian.
Daily specials combined with generous portions and a relaxed
casual atmosphere have always sent this diner and his companions
away satisfied.

| Scarpas | Albuquerque, NM | |
|
While not terribly economical for those on a budget Scarpa's
has an exotic array of pizzas and preparation methods. My personal
favorite being the whole wheat chicken chipotle. On the occassions
i have visited, the atmosphere was sportsbar festive and the
service was attentive. Reccommended for those who like the firmiliarity
of pizza with a twist of adventure
