| Michaels Restaurant & Lounge | Rochester, MN | |

Like others have stated before that this is a well known restaurant
in town - when I moved here from ND and lived in Austin, MN that's
all I heard about is you should eat here. Before our party dined
here I asked several times what type of dress is required - casual
to business. We had a party of three and were seated in the middle
of the floor. We did order an appetizer of onion rings - which did
not look at all appetizing, although the batter looked home made
(flour & water based). Our meals were satisfactory along with
all other items that came with the meal - although our drinks were
not refilled nor were we asked if we'd like dessert. The waitress
acted like we were just there taking up space, although we are
very good tippers as two in our party are Mystery Shoppers for
various companies throughout the US and the other party member
is a gormet chef at a 4 star restaurant in town.

| Nine Dragons Restaurant | Fargo, ND | |
|
I would rate this restaurant at the 4 stars due to their service
(not only the instore but the delivery) everytime I've ordered
they've double checked my meal for accuracy. The portions are
fair for the price. They do run specials nightly and like stated
above delivery for a fee.
The restaurant has the traditional chinese atmosphere along with a large fish tank. I would highly recommend to any of my friends. |

| Grainery Restaurant & Bar | Fargo, ND | |
|
Great place to dine!! Warm and friendly atmosphere - I'd recommend
trying to be seated near the fireplace during the cold winters.
The establishment has a salad bar that is small but fills you up.
The meals are fairly priced for the portions. Although I am a non-smoker
and always asked for non-smoking we were always seated by the
bar directly across from the smoking section - this pulled away
from not only the wonderful meal but also from the whole atmosphere.
I would also highly recommend making a reservation unless you
like to wait in line, I believe the longest I've waited to be seated
was 1 1/2 hours, and 45 minutes on New Year's Eve. The waitstaff
are always friendly and willing to make suggestions as to wine/liquor.

| Mexican Village | Fargo, ND | |
|
Great family restaurant - have a little bit of everything on the
menu. Good portions for the price. The food always arrives hot
and fresh, but while your waiting the chips and salsa are always
replenished along with your beverages. Lots of seating available
in this establishment - but they always seem busy.

| Olive Garden Italiam Restaurant | Fargo, ND | |
|
Great restaurant to dine at, I do have to agree with other comments
that there is a wait to be seated, unless you've remembered to
call ahead for reserve seating. The salad and bread before you
meal is almost too filling. The lunch special of soup and salad
is a great value. If your a big italian lover this is the place to
go.

| Sergio's Mexican Restaurant | Minot, ND | |
|
Great Mexican restaurant. The prices are decent and the portions
are good size. The only problem I have w/this restaurant is when
you ask for non-smoking I don't want to be seated across the isle
or a table away from a smoker - it just takes away from the whole
experience.

| Branding Iron Restaurant | Preston, MN | |
|
We arrived at 1:10pm with only 2 other tables (1 large, 1 business
meeting). Our waitress was very friendly and patient as we couldn't
make a selection - but placed an appetizer order while trying
to make up our minds. Appetizier was cheese curds which had mozzarella
instead of cheddar. There were two people in the party - casually
dressed (jeans). One person has Mushroom & Swiss Burger - which
was a very good size for the price. The other party had the Chicken
Strip Meal (which included potatoe and lots of bread) Salad Bar
which is very limited and could use some work - was extra. Steve
(owner/manager) also does the cooking - was extremly friendly
and made sure the portions were good size. The banquet room seemed
small but could fit 50 people. They also have a full bar, which
we didn't visit. The bathrooms neat & tidy. The parking was decent
(although there were only 4 cars in the lot) but they have 2 lots.
But I must say that I loved the view!! While there we saw a bald eagle
glide by the large bay window.
We found our dining experience here to be excellent with a note
to update the salad bar, as this was my first dining experience
here I will surely be returning just for the view alone!
