| Las Olas Cafe | Fort Lauderdale, FL | |
|
This restaurant is a hidden jewel amongst the many versatile
restaurants in Ft Lauderdale?s famous Las Olas Blvd. The food
is excellent, specially their mozzarella and tomato salad and
penne entrée. The wine list is intense and you will find the perfect
wine to compliment your dinner. The owner and staff demonstrate
they are proud of their establishment and it shows. Highly recommend
a visit before going to the theater or just strolling thru the
boulevard. Reservations are welcomed and I recommend.

| Romano's Macaroni Grill | Lake Mary, FL | |
|
As always, Macaroni Grill lives up to their reputation. Excellent
service, outstanding food and the price is right. The Lake Mary,
located on Lake Mary Blvd and 1-4 is ideal for a business meeting
or a night with the family.

| Fishermen's Grotto | San Francisco, CA | |
|
This is a top notch restaurant. Outstanding food, even for vegetarians,
the service was what you expect at a 5 stars restaurant and the
wine list reflects the region's reputation for excellent wines.
Highly recommend!

| Tides Wharf | Bodega Bay, CA | |
|
Excellent view with average service and food. Not for vegetarians,
but they allow you to open your own bottle, so it was worth it for
the view. Would not recommend unless you like fried seafood and
don't mind waiting for your table and food.

| Tadich Grill | San Francisco, CA | |
|
Extensive menu, but not for vegetarians. The chef was able to
prepare a pasta dish, which was good, but not up to speed with the
rest of menu. Friendly staff, but would not allow us to choose
the table although the place was relatively empty. Good prices
for San Francisco.

| Il Fornaio | Carmel, CA | |
|
Excellent atmosphere and service. The food is served with elegance
and just enough spices to make your tongue burst in pleasure.
Their wine list is extensive and well diversified.

| The Caves Restaurant | Fort Lauderdale, FL | |
|
This theme restaurant is such a disappointment. The food is below
average and very expensive and the service is poor. Not a place
to take your significant other, perhaps the kids would enjoy
but why pay the high prices when you get better food at McDonalds.
Not a return performance.

| Tom Jenkins Bar-B-Q | Fort Lauderdale, FL | |
|
If I were a meat eater, this would be the place I would go for bar-bee-que.
All our friends and family members rave about Tom's food and relax
atmosphere. Being a short distance from the court house and downtown
you usually find business' movers and shakers eating elbow to
elbow with the landscaping guys. Tom has become a Fort Lauderdale
Icon!

| Charley's Crab Restaurant | Fort Lauderdale, FL | |
|
Food is average and not much for vegetarians, but the view is excellent
and a good place to grab a bite to eat before going to the theather
as they have a water taxis that will deposit you right at the water's
edge and will wait for your after the performance.

||
| Cielito Lindo | Fort Lauderdale, FL | |
|
This is the smallest of their 3 restaurants in Broward county
and it can be a little crowded (the tables are close togeter),
but the food is good and the service is acceptable. Good margaritas
and their hot sauce packs a punch.

||
| The Cheesecake Factory | Miami, FL | |
|
The menu makes you head spins and it is very vegetarian friendly.
The portions are generous and the service excellent. Very popular,
so be ready to wait and wait, but it is worth the wait just to taste
their delicate desserts! Not for those watching their calories.

| Il Mulino | Fort Lauderdale, FL | |
|
The best local Italian restaurant with a nice, friendly atmosphere.
The food is good, the service is fast and the staff is very experienced.
Good lunch menu.
|
||
| Big Louie's Italian Restaurant | Fort Lauderdale, FL | |
|
Not much of an atmosphere and the tables as too close to each other,
good place to take the kids but not a date. Food is average with
the red sauce tasting a bit like something you buy at the store.
Garlic rolls are good.

| Big Louie's Italian Restaurant | Fort Lauderdale, FL | |

Not much for atmosphere, good place to take the kids, but not a
date or spouse. Tables as too close to each others. Sauce tastes
like something you buy at the store but the garlic rolls are good.

||
| La Bamba III Mexican & Spanish | Fort Lauderdale, FL | |
|
Good food for the price and the margaritas are acceptable although
not great. The staff tries their best to serve you fast but you
don't feel rushed.

| Cafe De Paris | Fort Lauderdale, FL | |
|
Good place to take your mate for a romantic dinner for two. Service
is excellent and the food is great. Good wine selection.
|
||
| Tequila Sunrise Mexican Cafe | Fort Lauderdale, FL | |
|
Good margaritas, but not much for atmosphere. Food is good, however
the vegetarian fajitas are boring. Good place to take the family.

||
| Lesters Diner | Fort Lauderdale, FL | |
|
If you want to go back to yesteryears and be reminded of New York/Philadelphia
dinners, Lesters is the place. The staff is great and the food
is excellent.

||
| Zuckerello's Restaurant & Pizza | Fort Lauderdale, FL | |
|
The garlic rolls are to die for, but be careful or you will not leave
any room for the excellent main dishes. Service is good and this
restaurant is very popular so go early if you don't want to wait.

||
| Buca Di Peppo | Fort Lauderdale, FL | |
|
If you want to spend a night at a wacky place, then this is the restaurant
to visit. The tables are too close together and the service is
nothing to write home about, but a worthwile place to take your
aunt Sally from out of town (tourist love it!). Portions are huge,
enough to serve 3, so take the whole family and your neighbors
too. Once in a lifetime experience, would not go back for seconds.
