This place certainly is on the higher end of atmosphere (fine
dining) and the food is certainly good. The service is very good,
too. The menu has some unique items or some meals are prepared
uniquely.

Negatives? I feel that most of the good money you're paying is
because of the atmosphere. The portions were small (at least
when I went) and I feel that I was paying more for the decor than
the food. Parking is nearby, but the MSU location makes finding
a spot hard sometimes.

This is definitely a special occasion type place, but I wouldn't
make this a staple.

I think some reviewers are being overcritical of this place.
The decor is very nice and the staff are excellent. The food is
typical to very good. No, it's not gourmet, but the variety is
astonishing as displayed by their menu; and their Sunday brunch
may be a bit pricey, but it is one of the best in town.

My only real complaint is that although the place is large, their
seating arrangement is cramped. Also, the smoking section is
too close to the non-smoking section with no barriers. At least
it's elevated a bit above it. If you're oversensitive, it's best
to ask for a seat in the dining car.

This is by far the best Mexican lunch place in town. The food is
VERY fresh and prepared extremely well. Lunch lines tend to get
long and there's not much dining room in there, so you must arrive
before 11:40 AM or after 12:40 PM if you want a seat. Prices are
very reasonable and they deliver in the downtown Lansing area.

This is a good place to eat Italian food. They have a nice variety
of food and the service is very good. Their food tastes pretty
good. Their smoking and non-smoking sections are actually separated
by a WALL! Yay!
My negatives are that although the food is varied and tastes good,
it's on the heavy side, especially with the cheeses. The other
dislike is that the place is very claustrophobic. The tight and
narrow place plus the dark interior are almost a turn-off if it
weren't for the food, staff, and nice mom & pop atmosphere.

This place is the best new restaurant in town. It opened last fall
in the new Eastwood Towne Center. The staff are excellent. The
decor is open, airy, and stylish. The food is EXCELLENT. They
serve this spiced olive oil and bread before the meal that is out
of this world. I've not yet been disappointed in this place.

Prices range from moderate to pricey. Parking is ample. Get there
before 4:30 PM if you want your wait to be kept to a minimum. They
do have a call ahead policy, but they limit the number of seats
reserved that way.

You can dress as casual as you like without dirty looks, but the
atmosphere makes you feel underdressed if you show up in jeans
and T-shirt. Don't come in too much below business casual and
you won't feel badly. C'mon... you can look nice for at least one
meal. ;)
