All in all this restaurant is o.k. The day I was there it was 90 degrees outside and there was no air conditioning. This made for an uncomfortable experience. ALthough the food itself was fine, just the comfort level made it difficult to enjoy. The restaurant does has a rather neat decorative scheme.

Over all one of the best in Knox County. The food and service are both quite good. Be prepaired for a possible wait on weekends if you haven't made reservations;But it is worth the wait. Excellent food served promptly and by a knowledgable, friendly staff. With a complete bar it is another of the plaes to be seen.

Over all one of the best local family run restaurants in Mount Vernon. You will always find a member of the family in the restaurant.
Jody's is known for it's lunch and breakfast buffets, as well as a full menu of sandwiches and platters. There burgers are fresh and tasty, and there is nothing on the breakfast menu that I have not found enjoyable. Fresh soups and a salad bar make Jody's a great option.
