Buca Di Beppo Buffalo, NY
Food was good, nice "tacky" Italian atmosphere, casual. Prices are for family plates, including salads and appetizers so one plate can feed 3-4 people, great for double dates. Service was good as well. Overall I'd recommend to anyone who likes Italian food and atmosphere.
Kahunaville Buffalo, NY
Not a good place to eat a dinner. Too loud in the evenings, lunchtime is a litte better. Overall the food is not a good value. Generally, there are no side dishes included with the meal, fries, etc. Those are extra. The food is very plain despite the supposed hawaiian inspiration. Also to top it all off, the wait can be well over an hour. Not worth it at all.
Collegiate Restaurant Alfred, NY
Decent food, great value. Plenty of selections, too. Its a busy college diner, especially busy on saturday and sunday late mornings for breakfast. Their soups and wraps are a favorite of mine.
Alfred Sub & Pizza Shop Alfred, NY
Subs are good, pizza is fair. Also have ice cream and shakes. Prices are cheap. Sometimes its takes too long to get your order filled.
Five Star China Buffet Buffalo, NY
About 9 bucks for one person. The selection and food are good. On the weekends they serve all you can eat crab legs for the buffet. The service is good as well, and they keep the food hot and fresh.
Chef's Buffalo, NY
Food is good, and the prices make it a good value. Quite a popular place, great local reputation. Local celebrity favorite as well. The sauces are excellent.
Dinosaur Bar-B-Que Rochester, NY
Excellent food, the meat just melts in your mouth whether its the chicken, pork, or beef. The barbecue sauce is great too. The blues music and the harleys outside make this place look intimidating but don't be afraid. The platter is a great value, about ten bucks and you get pork, chicken, and some ribs, plus beans and sweet cornbread. Only complaint is that it gets really busy and the wait can be long, last i checked they didn't take reservations, either, but its still worth wait.
