| Library II Restaurant & Lounge | Voorhees, NJ | |
Oh they have the BEST steak and salad! You pick your steak, they
show it to you before they cook it and they ALWAYS cook it EXACTLY
the way you ask. The atmosphere is charming, and the service is
great. Expect to wait for a table, this is a popular place, but
it's worth waiting for the excellent food.

| Big Stash's Restaurant | Linden, NJ | |
It's not Nanna's cooking, but it's better than slaving in the
kitchen all day. I find the food a little overcooked sometimes,
but that wouldn't keep me away.

| Atco Diner | Atco, NJ | |
Really really really good soup! Some excellent food, homey atmosphere,
and friendy service. A lunch time hot spot. This place is one of
my personal favorites.

| Barge Restaurant & Lounge | Perth Amboy, NJ | |
The Barge is down by the waterfront which is the most beautiful
place in Perth Amboy. You can see the yachts, and the beautiful
old homes. They have the best food in town to boot!
| Bud's Hut | Avenel, NJ | |
The prices are a bit steep for a bar, but they do know their seafood.
It's a great place!

| Harper's Pub & Restaurant | Clementon, NJ | |
Oh! Black angus beef, Guiness on tap, live Irish bands, excellent
food and service. What more could you ask? I love it, my husband
and kids love it. You would have to go to the Emerald Isle to find
better! Get there about 8pm, get a table in the back, eat, enjoy,
relax, and prepare yourself for the best entertainment of your
life. Drink your Guiness slowly, the creamy head is the best part!

| Jack Cooper's Celebrity Deli | Edison, NJ | |
Well, it's not New York, but close. The portions are generous,
and they'll even ship food FedEx anywhere in the country! The
place is right off the highway, so if you're sitting in traffic
on Rt 1 (and that's not unusual) take a detour! You won't be sorry
you did.

| Sonic Drive-In | Marion, IL | |
This Sonic has the BEST french fries I have ever tasted! I don't
know what they do to them, but I haven't had fries this tasty since
I was a kid at Nathans on Coney Island! The service is great, although
the place is usually a little crowded. It's worth it for the fries
and the Ocean Water drinks. All that's missing is the crashing
waves and screaming gulls!

| New China Restaurant | Marion, IL | |
Food isn't bad... IF you can get the woman on the phone to stop putting
you on hold long enough to actually get an order in! The food really
isn't good enough to put up with the inability to handle the daily
lunch and dinner rush.

| Full Ho Chinese Restaurant | Clementon, NJ | |
The only regret that I have about moving away from the area is that
I miss this wonderful restaurant. It has THE best food, an elegant
atmosphere, and great take out. You will not be disappointed.
| Lindenwold Pizza | Clementon, NJ | |
This is the best pizza in the area. You can taste the pride they
have in making a great pizza. It's not on the main drag, but worth
getting off the beaten track for.
| Second Avenue Kosher Deli | New York, NY | |
This place made going to the dentist worthwhile! It was my reward.
Sure, all I could manage was the chopped liver... but they have
the best in the world! As a kid growing up on 4th St and 2nd Ave, I'm
sure I cut a few teeth on their pickles and knishes. You couldn't
get better than this place.
| Chicken Galore | Woodbridge, NJ | |
Well I think the ribs are to die for, but I agree! I remember as a
teenager all of my friends chipping in for ribs. The place isn't
much to look at, but if you're looking for amazingly good food,
you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. I wouldn't change it
for the world.

| Blimpie's Subs and Salads | Marion, IL | |
Being born in NY and raised in NJ, I went in there and expected a
blimpie. NOT. As it is with all the subs in this area it lacks flavor,
spice, a decent Italian bread... I just don't know, but it's not
the blimpie I know and love. Also there is a "gourmet" coffee counter
in there. The place is an oxymoron. Cold coffee and bad sandwiches...
Well I guess they do go together after all!
| Cracker Barrell | Marion, IL | |
I have to agree about the salads. It is an interesting place to
visit. One of the better places in Marion near Rt 57.
| Triple E Bar-B-Q East | Marion, IL | |
Most of the food at this location was overcooked and dry. The service
is good though, and the atmosphere neighborly.
| Walt's Restaurant | Marion, IL | |
Walts manages to come as close as possible to REAL Italian food
as one can get here. The Pizza is good enough even for my picky,
finicky, first generation father-in -law. Which in itself is
a rave. The place is always crowded. Nice atmosphere, good service.

| The Reo Diner | Woodbridge, NJ | |
This is a landmark and tradition in Woodbridge. You can get good
food any time of the day or night. Meet me at the Reo!
| China Garden | Port Reading, NJ | |
Well, it's about time Port Reading got a Chinese restaurant.
The food could be better, but not by much.
| Bus Stop Luncheonette | Carteret, NJ | |
Oh! Heaven on earth! The coleslaw is just magical. These people
REALLY put their best effort into making the food taste good.
It's not just slopped together. You can taste the pride!
